It was so good I went back again for lunch the next day and ordered the Havana wrap with shrimp. 10/10. Great authentic Cuban restaurant! As a south Florida native I truly enjoy Cuban food. This place fits the bill! A Cuban sandwich... is excellent! Black bean soup is authentic. Plantains, excellent. I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful Cuban Café. I CAN say that it is my favorite spot to eat. So much so that my... famILY and I drive two hours just to eat here. The food is amazing and the family that runs it are always so friendly andwelcoming. I've never had anything I didn't like but I will list my favorites. Favorites include the Cuban sandwich, yuccafries, Asado Mojo Pork bowl, Ropa Vieja shredded beef bowl, cousins breakfast bowl, the flan and EVERYTHING in the pastry case.The coffee is also a whole experience! The Cafe con Leche is so good hot OR iced and the Iced Cafe Mocha. This is a place thatmy family and I always look forward to going to. The have the perfect decoration that makes you feel the culture!The ropa vieja is sooo delicious? the Cuban sandwich? pork sandwich? empanadas? the bread OMG!! We have visited Black Mountain several times but somehow we have overlooked this gem. We made up for lost time with a couple... visits this week. The decor will have you feeling like you?re in a diner in Cuba. The food is authentic and it?s divine. Ihighly recommend the breakfast sandwich with all the extras. Breakfast dishes are less than $10 a plate which is a steal. Thestaff is happy to answer questions and make recommendations. This will be a must-stop for us when we are in the area in thefuture. Absolutely delicious! Even my husband, who is super picky and refuses to try new things, stepped out of his comfort zone for me... and loved it! We got breakfast but everything looked, smelled, and sounded yummy. Amazing prices, amazing food, lovely familyowned restaurant. You could feel and taste the love they put into it.
