Reviews for Berliner Kindl German Restaurant in Black Mountain, NC
I love German food. Berliner Kindl is my go to place. The ladies are very nice and accommodating. All of the wursts, brautens... and schnitzels are delicious. The red cabbage or kraut are a must. The spatzel is a great homemade accompaniment to anymeal. The German potato or cucumber salad add a cool, well made side to the experience. The potatoes are not pancake style whichI prefer but the home fries style work. Ask for sour cream and apple sauce on the side. They serve German rye bread made justfor the the restaurant. The apple strudel with coffee (or an Irish coffee) is the perfect ending to the meal. For 3-4 people thebill will be $30-$60 plus dessert and drinks. Not bad considering a fast food meal now costs $10-$15. Berliner Kindl is highquality and local family owned. Support it! Read more

The storefront was completely unassuming. The food however....totally the opposite. The lemon schnitzel was incredibly delicious... and the beer was so good. Topped it off with the Kahlua mousse torte and OH MAN was it amazing. All in all, 5 stars for the topnotch service and food. Read more
Solid option with a friendly staff in underrated Black Mountain, NC. Draft Beer selection is limited but they had a Dunkel, so I... was satisfied on that front. Baked goods looked excellent but we didn't have any room after all the sausages and kraut. Read more

Great service but the food lacked flavor and was really under portioned for the price. We specifically came here for the... strudel everyone raves about, but that is only available after 4pm. Drinks required substantial ice because the soda cans arewarm, even warmer than room temperature. Read more
