Reviews for Peacock Alley in Bismarck, ND
Every meal has been fantastic! The Hanger steak is one of the best I have had in the country!
Service was quick, we enjoyed the atmosphere, and the historic architecture was nice to look at. Food and drink ratings are in... picture captions. Highly recommend Asian nachos and Thai Peanut Bowl. Read more
Peacock Alley used to be what I considered one of the fancier restaurants in Bismarck to eat at. They seemed to always have a... full house on the weekends and a very professional work staff/environment. Within the last couple years it seems more like acollege/dive bar. The food was mediocre and the staff seems like they had better things to do. The lady behind the bar was onher phone most of the time we were there and one waitress was doing homework at the bar. It could be because lately it seemslike there isn't hardly anyone there like how it used to be. Quality has definitely declined. Read more
The food and a drink are a definite 5 but if you want good service...you'll have to go elsewhere. BUT if getting ignored while... they stand in groups to chat doesn't turn you off your food then this place may be worth it. Tini Tuesday helps a lot! Read more
Really enjoyed Peacock Alley this evening. I had the flatiron steak with wild rice and a glass of water. The atmosphere is well... lit and cozy. The historical knowledge of this place is pretty cool to learn about as well. Our waiter was exceptional. Read more
Amazing restaurant with historical pictures and f the area and building itself. The staff was really kind and polite and was... able to recommend the best options and ready to propose variants to the dishes to fit the request from a colleague of mine. Thefood was superb (especially the Hanger steak which was the first time I ate) and quantities were good as well... It was hard tofinish everything. Would for sure dine there again if I ever go back to Bismarck. Read more
This place has been around for several years and moved from one location to the current one. Occupies the ground/street level of... a multi-story building with apartments for the disabled on the upper floors. The main entrance opens into the bar area (tablesand around the bar) with a corridor between the bar room and the sit-down restaurant. There is also an outdoor patio area.Extensive menu, lots of microbrew and we got an amazing waiter, Rudy, who made sure we got good vegetarian food. Everything herecommended was amazing. This was definitely a great choice for us! Read more
Order beef dishes because the cook must hate fish! The group ordered Mahi Mahi and Salmon. Four fish dishes were completely... overcooked and dry...very disappointed because the ingredients of the dishes promised a DELICIOUS dish. Read more
