Discriminates against groups with children. After a 9.5 hour drive, we were happy to find a famous Dave?s in this town. When we... entered the facility there were approximately 15 people in the whole building. We were told that we couldn?t be seated in thearea where a waiter/waitress would serve us because we had kids. They said we had to order our food at the register as if wewere at a Taco Bell and they?d call a number for us to pick up our food. Ridiculous when the average meal (-tip) costs anywherefrom $70-$90 for a family of 4. Needlessly to say, we left and went to a nice little locally owned breakfast/diner called TheLittle Cottage Cafe where they were happy to see us and our children. Read more
I?m a big sweet tea guy and the sweet tea wasn?t that good. The pork sandwich was good though.
Grabbed lunch here with our family and ordered the Famous Feasts - Feast for 2 and a cup of chili. Food was delicious as... expected and the staff was friendly and attentive. Even though we sat in self serve, staff brought our order to the table andcleaned up as well as we finished up. Would definitely dine here again. Read more

Great food, top notch service from our waitress & a couple others that just checked in on us. I was disappointed with the... manager though when they declined a birthday special to my 7 year old son because his birthday was the next day.
