Good spot for take-out BBQ. Unlike a lot of places in SC, Smoke Pit has smoked turkey and chicken, in addition to pork. Hash and... rice included on platters with 1 side. The sauce is a light tomato. We had pulled pork, ribs, and turkey. All were really good.The pits around back run on propane. Everyone was really friendly. Easy access just off the interstate. Read more

Me and my stepdad stopped there for a bite on our road trip and the food was absolutely phenomenal, my stepdad bought the pulled... pork sandwiches and 2 ribs while I got rib tips and rice, it was delicious and everything tasted perfect the ribs were juicy andtender while the pork had an amazing flavor and the beans were amazing, they were soft while seasoned to perfection. If I livedhere this would be the place to eat at every night. Also the ladies we spoke to were absolute dolls and were very nice. Read more
