I came here to try the gluten-free pancakes since some reviewers spoke so highly of them. We were seated right away but had to... wait for waitress to serve us. Her name was Cassandra. We ordered one order of gluten-free pancakes to split and I asked forextra butter. Not only did Cassandra not bring the extra butter but she also didn't bring an extra plate. She asked us if wewanted an extra plate. Well of course! And extra butter too please. She gave us an extra plate but no extra butter. The pancakeswere okay. The syrup was bland and the coffee was bitter. The sausage links were pretty good. We did get our extra butter afterasking again. I originally ordered grapefruit juice but they were out of it. So I ordered coffee. You know what happened when wegot the check. She had not removed the grapefruit juice and added the coffee. She said that was because the coffee cost morethat the grapefruit juice. I don't think so. My hubby pointed this out to her and she gave us the difference in change. OverallI was not impressed. Always happy to find a good breakfast place when I travel. This place was certainly "old school" pancake house and didn't... disappoint. I had the buttermilk pancakes and a side of sausage and the arrived hot and tasty. Good coffee ?? too! Read more

I visited this place on 3/2/2022. Parking can be a challenge if you out of town and not familiar. I ordered the dutch baby,... scrambled eggs and bacon. Wow!! Just Wow!! The dutch baby was perfect, creamy, tasty, and crispy. It came with lemon, butter, and powdered sugar. My husband ordered buttermilk pancakes, turkey sausage and scrambled eggs. Pancakes were soft, buttery, flaky and the eggs were the scrambled soft (like we love them) with a hint of butter and salt. Only complaint, we are coffeelovers and the coffee was weak. The reason I give 4 stars ... When we entered the restaurant, staff were confused as to whocould sit and who could stay in line. One staff told me to sit and another told me to "hold up" . Other than that. Goodexperience. Would eat again Read more

Solid choice for a classic breakfast. I didn't find anything we had as spectacular (however, my paradigm is that it is hard to... wow me with any breakfast item). Everything was well prepared and the flavor was good. Ambiance is what you would expect for apancake house that has been around 50 years. Service was pleasant and took good care of us. Read more

It was a good breakfast spot! Extremely busy and the wait was a bit long but it was good food in the end. The omelette isn't a... French omelette but it was nice and very filling, they can feed two people if needed as they come with pancakes too. We alsohad the peach pancakes, which is essentially a regular pancake with a nice peach spread on top of them. All of the food was goodand would recommend it if you enjoy breakfast foods! Read more
