Ruby Sunshine is not really one of my favorites. The food was okay I guess but nothing special. The menu items in my eyes are... overly fanciful. I don't really want a dish piled up with excessive ingredients in a chef's attempt to create somethingartistic. Just give me well prepared good food at a reasonable price. Read more
Excellent service and great food. I had the crawfish and grit cake Benedict- it was really tasty. Weather was nice so we sat on... the patio and enjoyed a lovely brunch. The wait staff are polite, on task, and generally help make for a good atmosphere. Read more
Absolutely the greatest experience, service and atmosphere are awesome and our food was phenomenal!! Husband and I started out... with the seasonal Beignets, both had the BBQ Shrimp and Grits, his with soft scrambled eggs, mine with poached eggs, andhomemade biscuits. This was my first time coming here and I left completely satisfied. There were many choices on the menu to choose from. I... ordered a Bloody Mary and it was outstanding. My omelet was amazing and the grits and biscuit Not the standard you would getanywhere else. The biscuit was one of the best I have had. Wife had the eggs benedict which was the first time she had thatstyle of egg and absolutely loved it. The server was very prompt and diligent when taking care of our needs. As crowded as theywere that day the food came out in no time hot and ready. I think the price for portion is correct and we both agreed we leftcomfortable. A new favorite. Everything we ordered was on point. You have to try the candy bacon. I could have eaten a whole pack of bacon... myself. We both ordered the Benedict. The chicken st Charles was ????????. My only small complaint is the paper straws, but Igive them credit for caring about the environment. Definitely going back. After tip we spent $65. I ate here on a Friday about 11:00. I put my name on their waiting list before I left my house and when I got there I didn't... have to wait but 5 minutes to be seated. I had the fried green tomatoes, morning margarita and the crawfish grit bake.Everything was absolutely delicious and service was spot on. I will definitely be back! Read more
