5 stars for the SHRIMP in LOBSTER Sauce. ????????????????????. You absolutely MUST try this. Also try the DINNER version of Hot... & Spicy soup. It's usually VERY delicious. Last time we went, it was a flop. It was missing the "hot &spicy" and it didn't haveenough "vegetable/meat" stuff in it. We fixed it by adding some hot mustard sauce. A little disappointed by soup, but thatRARELY happens. I actually thought maybe they brought us the lunch version or egg drop soup by mistake. All in all, this placeis solid. Egg rolls are perfect. I will come MANY more times and we will always get the shrimp in LOBSTER Sauce to share.. likeyou would an appetizer. It's dang good. Read more

I have been coming to Ming's my entire life and it has always been a welcoming place with wonderful food. It is a family owned... and operated restaurant. The employees here are very nice and the service is always great. I love the hot and sour soup and eggroll that come with lunch. Everything on the menu is fantastic. Best Chinese Restaurant in Alabama that I have tried. I doubt one could ever come close!! The service is excellent and the... owners/managers are all that you could ever hope for in a hometown staple. Best egg rolls and H&S soup in the business. Yummy! It's located just behind BK and the express oil change place. The ingredients were fresh and well-priced. The lunch menu... ($7-11) comes with the entrée, the option to upgrade from fried rice to lo mein (+$1), an egg roll, and choice of soup. Themenu is available online but you'll have to call it in, which was no problem. Read more
Food is decent. Not bad at all. I have had much better, but for Birmingham this is a 4 star Chinese restaurant. If I was in... California or NY, this would be 3 stars. Definitely worth trying again. Read more
