Look, this is not a world-class super gourmet Chinese restaurant so don't come in here with that mindset lol. Is it the best... thing ever? No. That said, the food is still pretty good considering that it's cheap, and you get a massive serving that iseasily enough for two people. Also super conveniently located right by UAB. I got the general tso chicken, girlfriend got thelo mein. We went during lunch so we got the lunch specials that come with fried rice and a fresh eggroll. Yes, even the lo meincomes with a side of rice which is hilarious because its a side of carbs with your carbs lol. Needless to say, we each only ateabout half our dishes and took the rest to eat for dinner. It's like two meals in one haha. Give it a try! Read more

Went to this place for the first time today because I've heard great things about it. I ordered the Sesame Chicken to go. Best Chinese you'll find in UAB hospital area. Servers are always attentive and polite, food is prepared very quick, and portion... sizes are very generous. They even toss in a free egg roll at lunch time. A+ Edit 04/19/22 - Still best chinese in the UABarea, still great service. ???? Read more
We shared Moo Goo Gai Pan, crab ragoons, and sweet and sour soup. The entree?s chicken had a great taste, as did the soup and... crab ragoons. Glad we choose China Wok! The entree came with fried rice and a egg roll which could have been better but overalla great experience with fast service. Read more
