We are only spending one night in Birmingham and wanted to find a good lunch spot for our family. We ordered take out. We had... the best brisket sandwich we've ever had. The cheese biscuits tasted like a biscuit and cornbread mix, which was so good. Theribs tasted awesome even without the extra sauce - smoked perfectly. Highly recommend! Read more

Delicious brisket and onion rings!! Love how their onion rings are HUGE (I could wear these onion rings as bracelets haha!).... Great vibe and culture. Their cheese biscuits are a must try. Since visiting for the first time, I?ve added Jim N Nick?s to myfavorite list of restaurants in AL! This location has difficult parking since it?s downtown but it is worth the effort for goodfood!! This was my first time eating here. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The peach tea, and cheddar biscuits... were so yummy. I enjoyed the cleanliness and how roomy the building was. It doesn?t even feel like it?s on the South Side. It?sso well hidden amongst everything else around it. When you?re inside you?re not disturbed by things going on outside. We lovedthe bbq and the kids options. Chili cheese fries were a hit for my 4 year old. Read more
