It was okay, nothing too crazy, nothing amazing, just the normal good experience, it's hard to really think about the wording... because, I walk in, get food, paid my bill, and left, there was no bad things that I experience, there wasn't any exceptionalthings either, I mean the servers were kind everybody did the job that they were supposed to do and I was content with my food,it's a four-star review. No five-star review because of the fact of nothing is exceptional I mean I didn't have a mind-blowingexperience, if we give average the normal, if we give the normal experience that you would expect to have when you walked into arestaurant if you gave that normal experience five star what would you give to the person who went above and beyond and you hadan exceptional experience because Google don't give six stars. Five stars the size they go, so you've got to distinguish betweenthe normal average everyday experience and the exceptional experience. The only way to do that is to make the five star reviewthe exceptional experience. If everything goes according to plan and according to normal, then that's just an averageexperience. If you order chicken and you eat the chicken that you ordered exactly the way that you ordered it and exactly theway that you liked it you're not going to go right home about it because you got what you expected to get. But what if theybrought you out chicken and then they did something else or something else happened or you saw a good deed or a worker gotpromoted or something experience happen in the restaurant while you were there and it just really was mind blowing, then thatwould be five stars I'm sure you'd ride home about it Read more
I had the time of my life at the Thundercat concert 9-16-22. The venue had great service, lighting, tight security, low key vibe... with intimate feel, and option of reserved tables on the balcony with a "private" bar. I highly recommend it. Read more
This is an outstanding concert venue with an impressively professional and friendly staff. The facility itself is well setup to... accommodate different sizes and types of events, and the way they make the crowd flow easily is so smooth that you don't evennotice. You're in. Had the opportunity to visit Birmingham Alabama for the second time with my niece. This time we ate at Iron City Grill. The... interaction with the staff was great fun as we clowned my niece! The food was oh my God!! I had Cajun and Asian friedcauliflower, a Greek salad with blackened shrimp and some collard greens. The food was excellent feel myself going into thetalked about food coma knowing I wanted to take some of the food home I just kept taking bite after bite going oh my God, oh myGod!!! And you know the test of good take away food right it was even, it was even good cold y'all!!! I loved the atmosphere of the iron city grill. Summer vibes drink was really delicious. Ordered some pimento cheese and pita... chips as well. They were delicious and it was a pretty good size for an appetizer. Waitress was amazing as well.. Definitelyworth stopping here if you are in the area. Read more
Got together with friends for brunch. We decided on Iron City Grill. It was a great time! Service was excellent. The food was... hot and delicious. Eventhough there was a slight error with our order, everyone was polite, professional and worked together tomake it right and now, its just a funny story we tell each other and laugh making it a memorable brunch and good time had byall. The appetizers were my favorite. The humus and grilled wings to be exact. I've never had sweet potato humus before, but I really... enjoyed the taste of it with the pita bread they use. The wings tasted like I was at a family reunion getting them straight offthe grill. Their sweet potato fries were great as well. I did not like the shrimp and grits. They were too salty for my likingand there was no other flavor noticed because of the salty taste. I had only a second bite of it to try it again to see if Icould bear it, but couldn't. I just gave what I ordered to someone else and ate the fries as the fries ended up being more thanenough. About time our waitress noticed my plate not really being touched, and asking if I wanted something else, we were aboutto leave. I would visit again, just will stay clear of what I had. Read more
