I?m usually more of a Beef Brisket guy, than pork. Being said? this is southern pork, and was EXCELLENT! I will be back!!

Ok SAW is still #1 in Bham but when I stopped in to try this FULL MOON I had heard so much about I was plesanty Surprised. I... threw them off when I asked for "Burnt Ends" but "hey" ?????????????????????? Ribs were Decent and Brisket was and in generousporportins. What I thought was SLAW turns out to be Chow Chow a condiment I know to be eaten with & on Collards and MustardGreens! But this Stuff is majic!!! Its like McD's Secret Sauce but widt more juice & a slight kick. I tend to like Smoke & alittle sweet on da ribs side & Brisket too. This will do in a pinch. Read more

Authentic BBQ ya?ll. When you step out of your car and smell the smoke down the street you know it?s going to be a great meal.... There are quite a few FullMoon?s around the area but I wanted to eat at the original location. I was traveling south on 65 andit took a bit longer to get to the location but it was well worth it. It?s a small place with about 30 seats, the walls arelined with autographed sports pictures of athletes that I assume have eaten there. We arrived around 3:30pm and half the placewas filled but it only took a few minutes to be served. I had the rib plate with coleslaw and Mac n cheese. The coleslaw wasunique for sure. It wasn?t a mayonnaise based slaw it seemed to have a mixture of relish and spices. Much different than whatI?m used to but it was really good. The Mac and cheese tasted homemade. I wish I would have tried their potato salad because itlooked good. The spare ribs had a good smoke ring but didn?t have much of a smoke taste. The chicken my wife had was very tenderand flavorful. I guess it?s their tradition to mop the top of the meat with sauce but it works because the sauce had a goodtaste as well. They also have a spicy chow chow that is super flavorful. Bottom line, the next time I come thru Birmingham Iwill stop again. Loved it. Read more

Every TIME we go to this location, there is not ANY DISAPPOINTMENT! The friend green ???? are wonderful. I get them every chance... I get. Turkey is juicy and well seasoned. The sides remind me of my grandmother's kitchen. The chicken and and ribs were tenderand falls off the bones. Will be going back. Everyone is soooo friendly. You feel like you are picking up a plate at thecookout. Price $$ to $$$ depending on what you order. That is why we keep coming back. Read more
