Alright. First time here, seating was relatively quick. (Came at 3:00pm and waited less than 5 min for a table of 3) Our server... Jacob was wonderful and had a great idea of the menu and the customer service was lovely?Unfortunately, the food was subpar. Myfirst dish was a simple French toast, which was so bland the only thing I tasted was the topping of over-saturated berries. After expressing it was bland to the manager I was easily comforted with another option to be satisfied with. I then tried theLoaded Biscuit and Chorizo, which was better than the French Toast but still not up to my liking. (It lacked depth when it cameto FLAVOR and had no variety of texture. I understand it?s a biscuit BUT the whole dish gets lost in the texture of biscuit &gravy and is too mushy. There?s absolutely no flavor from the chorizo?it?s completely lost.) In the end, I did not enjoy the 2dishes I had. I?ll be back to try more items during breakfast and dinner only because the service was amazing. Read more

Menu is thoughtful and creative! Coffee was absolutely amazing. Best omelet I?ve ever had. (Huge portions and fresh veggies) The... service gave me the warm fuzzies. Down to worrying about what my dominant hand was for my coffee:) They were so sweet to me whenI explained I needed my eggs cooked hard. (Pregnant) I?m from out of town but definitely coming back next time I?m in town. Read more

Really enjoyed breakfast here. You need to be specific with your coffee because they have several different methods of... preparation. Try the signature coffee (I think it was called the frothy monkey.) Breakfast was delicious and very fresh. I wouldcome back anytime. I look forward to trying new dishes. Read more

New coffeehouse in DT B?Ham is a welcome addition to the Arts District. If atmosphere and farm to table fare is your desire,... you?ve found a new venue, worth your time n dime. Coffeehouse franchise from Nashville has delicious pastries, fresh, spicysalsa, and a variety of brunch fare served all day along with a full bar. Manager Brandon is leading his youthful staff inflexible table service, with soon to expand weekend hours until 9. Read more

Nice place service exceptional. The food was mostly great. I ordered an omelet and side of their fabulous bacon cheddar grits.... The huge omelet was over cooked which made the eggs very dry. Read more

Very cool place with some start-up issues. It was very busy and very loud so I'll give the wait staff a break but my order came... out missing a key ingredient and then a spill happened as our server passed a drink to the person beside me. Luckily I waswearing jeans so it wasn't a big deal but that's never a good thing. We also learned they do not have their liquor license yetalthough that's hopefully coming soon. Despite the minor setbacks I will definitely come back. The food was very good and thedecor is modern industrial and feels comfortable. Read more

we visited this frothy monkey location during its soft opening last week. the atmosphere was great - super cute and fun vibes. i... got the bacon egg & cheese bagel with avocado & my friend got the biscuits. neither one of us were blown away by the food - itwas just decent. i originally ordered the drink ?cherry-o? and was not a fan of it, so they kindly replaced the drink for freewhen i asked. the havana latte is what i got instead, and i enjoyed it! their prices are a bit high for the quality of the foodand coffee, but it was still good. most of the employees were well trained and very helpful, but i think our waitress was stillbeing trained (understandably so), which made our experience a little less enjoyable. something interesting is that it?s moreof a restaurant vibe than a coffee shop one, so it didn?t really feel like a place you could sit and work at for hours, which iwas hoping to do there. overall, great place to visit! will it be my go to shop in bham? most likely not.
