Vegans BEWARE! Order the Vegan Chick?un Sandwich and was given and bit into a real chicken sandwich. I told an employee and he... said that it was vegan. I wasn?t convinced so I had a friend try it and they confirmed that it was in-fact real chicken. As astrict vegetarian this was a very disturbing experience. Employees should be careful of what they serve to their customers ifthey are going to have vegan options. Never again. Read more
Eugene's Hot Chicken is a perfect restaurant. The chicken is delicious. The line might be long but it is worth the wait. We... enjoyed the environment as well. The salad was fresh and scrumptious. Best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life. Very well seasoned, amazing staff, and large portions. I had eaten most of the... fish in the photo, and there was still so much. Even though there were a crazy amount of customers the staff were still veryfriendly, and very fast! I will definitely be coming back. Read more
This has that hole in the wall feel some of you are seeking. Smaller venue. In and outdoor seating. There are tasty restaurants... near this one, but this one was our favorite. If you want to convince your kids, how can you go wrong with chicken and waffles?!Yum sums it up. Read more
Food was excellent. The only reason I?m not giving this place 5 stars is the cleanliness of the place. No tables were wiped down... the whole time we were there except ours when we asked. You can ice skate on the floors (concrete) due to the grease on them. Iwon?t even mention how bad the bathrooms looked. Read more
Excellent is barely an adequate word to use to describe my meal today. Loved the "Pop'n" chicken, or whatever it's fancy name... is. I got it "Southern style" 'cause well, it was Sunday, and I just wanted to pay homage to my Granny. Anyway, they gave meenough fries to feed a table of 6, I think. And the ranch dressing was fresh, and at least tasted "homemade," a perfectcompliment to the chicken and the fries. Enjoyed their "cane sugar" cola, as well. Service was friendly! Definitely the kind ofplace to enjoy with friends for a Sunday lunch. Read more
I got the 1/4 dark meal with mild heat, and it was SO GOOD!! The mild was a perfect amount of spice for me with a sweetness to... it as well!! My only letdown was the coleslaw it was starting to brown and wilt. Read more
