This is a trendy, modern, Cuban inspired bar in downtown Birmingham. Please do yourself a favor and order the Black Ops... cocktail, you can thank me later. I would have given this place 5 stars, however my pork chop was a little on the dry side. Thegolden beet salad was delicious. Great place, I'll be back. Read more
My new favorite place. I made a reservation and visited the establishment on a Friday. Star was my waitress and she was great.... I ordered the pork chop which was the best I've ever had. My guest had the wagu steak which was also great. The drinks are alsogood and they have a great selection but sip slow ????. I'll advise anyone that's looking to visit to make reservation prior. I came to this bar as a second bar, so my spirit was already well lubricated upon arrival. This also means I didn't have a lot... here, but the little I had was pretty good! This bar was suggested to me as "the rum bar,"and that sounded good, so I went. Aspromised, there were a ton of interesting rum cocktails and several of them sounded great. I wasn't feeling very creative so Igot the rum old fashioned and it was good. I don't think it changed my life, but I might not've noticed that night anyway. We took a large group to Cayo Coco and the staff was accommodating and fun. I did not see any vegan options on the menu so I... asked for no meat or dairy, and the waiter immediately asked my specific preferences and did not make it weird at all. My fiancée took me here for a date night two weeks ago and we had the best time! Ashley E. was our server and she was so... pleasant. We got the zombie and the mojito as cocktails, both were delicious but the zombie was a show stopper! Followed by thecroquettes and sausages as appetizers, and the croquettes we got seemed like the meat was a little chewy/gamey, but the sausagewas top notch!
