Halo Burger is NOT the #1 burger in Michigan! Wendy's is better. Culver's is better. McDonald's is Not! The rating has now gone... down another star. I was asked by the company to email them 'to make it right' 3 or 4 days ago, which I did, and have heardnothing in return. Typical big company. One day they will not be selling Halo burgers or anything else because of poor customerservice. Read more
Stopped by here on my way up north, was very busy and the reviews looked promising? compared to the food in this area the food... is good but compared to places in detroit it is not. Doesnt compare to five guys, shake shack. Burger was on par with a whopperfrom Burger king in my opinion, sides werent great. Wouldnt stop by here again. 3 stars for the good service, foods a 2/5. When they had a location in Troy, I could have eaten Halo Burger everyday. The food was fresh and delicious. On the rare... occasions my family comes up to Birch Run, we usually stop here trying to bring back some of that nostalgia, but nothing tastesthe same. I'm fairly certain the meat is cooked from frozen, the Coke machines taste like something odd is leaking into the mixno matter what you select, or maybe they just haven't been cleaned in forever. The rewards program doesn't really work either. I'm sure the workers are doing their best, but there have been several ownership changes for this company and the choices eachnew team made seem to have brought down the quality and overall feel of the experience. This burger joint was surprisingly good. We had a hot dog and burger. Both were excellent. We also had sweet potatoes fries,... onion rings and cheese curds. The sauce was the best for all the sides. Read more
This was always a favorite place but it took a very long time to get food and the dining area was not clean. Hair on table. ... Someone must have sat there and brushed and it never was wiped down. Men's room was nothing short of filthy. Burger was goodas were o rings. Fries looked and tasted like they were made hours before serving Not up to standard but a lot is due to thequality and quantity of the available help. Read more
Very disappointed. We had a jalapeño burger meal and a mushroom Swiss burger meal. The jalapeño burger had 2 very small slices... of pepper on it and that was it. The mushroom Swiss had so much pepper it was almost too much to handle eating. The Bostoncooler was completely missing the soda, I got a cup of just ice cream with a straw. The only decent part was the cheese curdsbut for $27 for a meal like this I was highly disappointed with everything. Read more
The line was long through the drive through but the guy that waited on us was very pleasant & professional. He didn't seem... stressed out (if he was he didn't show it). He did a great job & the food was fresh & really good! We even got a free hatshowing our hunting license! Read more
