The wife and I stopped in here yesterday for dinner. We are visiting the area for our first anniversary and I was craving... Hibachi. When we walked in we were promptly greeted and seated. The food was of excellent quality. I was also a great fan of theportion size. I usually expect to be full when I leave Hibachi, however I was only able to eat about half my plate before I hadto tap out. Our chef was amazing and friendly. We ate hibachi. The service was very good, fast and friendly. I ordered the filet mignon lunch it came with fried rice and... vegetables. I chose egg drop soup over the salad or other soups. The hibachi chef was friendly but a little clumsy. He nearlyhit someone with his spatula when flipping it around in his fingers. Outside of that one incident he was very good. I had never been here before. My family came in town so we decided to check y?all out. I have to say Ashley was an amazing... server. My kids probably was driving her nuts. I went on a date here yesterday and I had a really amazing experience! Our server, Coi, was very polite, patient and informative... about all the questions we asked regarding our food. We had crab rangoon with sweet chili sauce, egg drop soup, a sashimisampler, sushi and maki rolls, and eel(unagi)! Everything was so delicious and promptly served! Our server definitely got alarge tip from us and is a great asset to y'alls team there at SUMO! Only complaint is that the windows, curtain, and soy saucedispenser were incredibly dirty, but nonetheless we had an amazing time on our date and we'll definitely be going back! Read more

Went here for lunch. Thought the tempura was great, terriyaki salmon was nice but wasn't too impressed with the sushi roll we... ordered. Service was good and friendly. The tempura cheesecake was good but we were a bit surprised and confused to why it wasserved with "to-go" plastic utensils. Overall experience was positive and will visit again when in Biloxi. Great place for groups of all ages. They have plenty of seatimg for multiple groups, with a solid bar and menu options. Their... chefs are top notch and the hostesses are always friendly. Only been there a few times, and I have to say, the experience hasbeen top notch every time. Whether it's a birthday, or a going away party, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended! Read more
