First time to the gulf and first time here, we traveled here from Laurel, about two hours away, we will be coming back. The food... was amazing. I had the yellowfin poke bowl, the hubby had the seafood mac and cheese, and the father in law had the captainsseafood platter ( minus the alligator bites, they ran out. Went here for dinner while in town. Food was PHENOMENAL. Service was unbeatable. Loved the atmosphere. Manager was absolutely... the best. Going back for dinner tonight before we leave. Try the crab and corn bisque and the burgers. You won?t regret! Read more
My family of five went here based on the amazing reviews on the service because that is hard to find. Our service was okay but... not great. We didn?t see our server for refills until we were finished eating. She did mention she had a part of 15 though so Ithink they cater to the bigger groups first due to getting a higher tip. Food was better than the service though and I give itfive stars! It came out quickly after we ordered and the portions were large. The shrimp sampler was delicious and big enoughfor my 18 year old daughter and myself to share. The burgers were cooked medium perfectly and were huge. Decent experience overall. We came on a Friday and the wait was 1 hour, 40 minutes (for a first available table at that - we... were seated inside). The bright side is that you can join the waiting list from their website, so you can hangout nearby (beach,casinos, etc). The overall vibe is awesome ? the views can?t be beat, and it?s just a cute restaurant overall. The shrimp wasamazing, but my steak came out closer to medium rare inside when I asked for it medium well. Servers were quick and friendlythough.
