With vegan options being nearly nonexistent in Biloxi, ?Makin? Groceries? is a real gem. The owner Lauren, is very personable... and you can tell she puts a lot of love into the food she prepares, as everything is made from scratch (the wait isn?t very longeither). The restaurant itself is cute, with vibrant colors and locally featured artwork. Prices are reasonable. And, did Imention the food is delicious ????. My boyfriend and I patronized this lovely establishment twice in a day, once for breakfast,and once for lunch; he had the vegan breakfast bowl and I had vegan breakfast burrito, both were very tasty and well seasoned.For lunch we had the carrot tacos (my favorite), beet burger, veggie wrap, and the red beans and rice arancinis (also myfavorite ????). All-in-all this is a great place for anyone who is plant based or anyone that?s looking for healthier foodoptions. We will definitely be back next time we come to Biloxi. P.S. This place is phenomenal! Real, wholesome, delicious food prepared with excellent ingredients and mixed with the love and... passion of its owner and staff. Great breakfast and lunch spot! We loved the breakfast burrito, breakfast grits bowl, and thefresh juice. The food presentation, friendly staff, and cozy cafe atmosphere made the whole experience a 10/10. Literally just left here and had to tell others on how yummy the food is. The strawberry muffins are addictive and had to get... another to go. For a vegan and vegetarian food a carnivore will be pleased with the option here. I did not take any pictures ofmy food because I was too busy scarfing it. This is an excellent place for vegans and vegetarians. I was passing through Biloxi and was feeling hungry. Luckily I found this... spot and ordered a delicious breakfast burrito. The food did not disappoint, I really loved the decor and environment. They evenhad a grab-in-go section which I took a couple of plates with me on my roadtrip.
