With vegan options being nearly nonexistent in Biloxi, ?Makin? Groceries? is a real gem. The owner Lauren, is very personable... and you can tell she puts a lot of love into the food she prepares, as everything is made from scratch (the wait isn?t very longeither). The restaurant itself is cute, with vibrant colors and locally featured artwork. Prices are reasonable. And, did Imention the food is delicious ????. My boyfriend and I patronized this lovely establishment twice in a day, once for breakfast,and once for lunch; he had the vegan breakfast bowl and I had vegan breakfast burrito, both were very tasty and well seasoned.For lunch we had the carrot tacos (my favorite), beet burger, veggie wrap, and the red beans and rice arancinis (also myfavorite ????). All-in-all this is a great place for anyone who is plant based or anyone that?s looking for healthier foodoptions. We will definitely be back next time we come to Biloxi. P.S.
