We were hoping for a relatively quick sit down breakfast as we arrived at 10am on a Thursday. Not busy when we arrived, busy... when we left. After we ordered we heard the waitress tell other people they were shortstaffed in the kitchen. We were not toldbefore we were seated or before we ordered, or even after we ordered. The waitress hardly checked on us at all as we waited anhour for our food. Refilled coffee once. Eggs were burnt and cold. Hash browns were undercooked and cold. I have worked inrestaurants, didn't and back of the house, fine dining and short order, I understand how hard it is to be short, but tell thepatron. Let them decide if they want to stay. It also makes us a lot more patient knowing we chose to wait. Very disappointedall around. Read more
We are visiting from out of state and this is the best Denny?s we have ever been to! I think our waitress? name was Rosie and... she was so so great! Nice and attentive! The food was delicious and the eggs were the best cooked eggs I have had at arestaurant! Read more
In the past Denny's was the place to go for coffee, good food & friendly conversations 20-50 years ago. Now it's quiet & not as... much activity. This trip I had the sirloin steak (kudos to the chef med. rare was perfect), mashed potatoes (no more bakedpotatoes), zucchini & squash (small portions), garlic buttered toast. Barbara my waitress was great, friendly andattentive. Overall: Service was 4 ?, atmosphere 2.5 ?, speed 3.5?, food portions 2?, food placement 2?(steak looked lonely on aplate by itself LOL, a sprig or 2 of parsley could have helped) Mr. Mac Food Critic. We always have a pleasant dining experience here, especially when Suki is our waitress! Beyond healthy portions of good food at... decent prices, and typically the place is pretty quiet even when it's packed. Oh, and the milkshakes are amazing! Read more
