We've been here twice now, and will likely visit many more times. The staff are friendly and attentive. We were seated very... quickly, and never had empty glasses for long. the service was terrible. From the host to the waiter. I?d recommend anywhere else. When you are paying this much for food you... would expect (at very least) decent service. I?m in town for work, and have been here about 2 months. There are plenty ofplaces I?d rather eat, and Mexican food is my absolute favorite! So considering this is one of the only Mexican restaurants intown, that means a lot coming from me. I will not be back. Not to mention, surprisingly small portions. We ate here three times on a weeklong trip. The food quality is outstanding, with the salsa and red enchilada sauce being... standouts. The dine-in service was good. I took off a star because of a take-out order: Despite a mandatory tip on a $43 order,they did not include chips and salsa and both entree orders were wrong. Read more

Stopped in on a somewhat busy night. Front staff seemed overwhelmed but we found seats at the bar and had a great post-hike... meal. The special margs are the key selling point I think as the tacos weren't exactly life changing, but we'd go back again aslong as bar and kitchen staff are consistent. A lot of the bad reviews seem to be extremely mild complaints people blow upabout forgetting their one bad experience of not getting their unreasonable expectations shouldn't leave a mark on a restaurantlong term. Had a decent time. Food was pretty good. Portions small. Enchiladas did not come with rice and beans yet most places include... them. Refill for Salsa cost extra. Restrictions on the combos and couldn't add what kind of sauce you wanted. Pobalno CreamEnchiladas: Beef was very good in them and overall the sauce was quite nice. No beans or rice or an option to add. portion sizedecent $22 Chile Verde Pork: small portion for the price $18. Beans were watery and lqcked good flavor. Overall good flavor onpork but small pieces. Very busy, our waitress was nice but didn't provide us much time. Restrictions and no substitutes wasdisappointing. Salsa very good. They provide a large bowl of it. Prices high for what you get. Unfortunately, we ended up not eating here due to the experience from management. We were a larger than 6 party and were... informed parties larger than 6 will not have checks split. It was lunch time, it was empty besides maybe another table?? Weasked if we could have our checks split and server said he'd ask manager. This was all good. However, manager's response wasbasically "won't split checks, it's on our menu we won't split checks, and you can go to either A or B restaurant if you don'tlike it." When manager left table we chatted and most of us were just fine putting our meals on one check and splitting up billlater. However, it truly was the attitude of management and the way she spoke to us that was the deciding factor, and we choseto try out one of the other restaurants. (Sooo disappointed--I was really wanting a margarita! : ) ) The very unfortunateexperience came, however, when we were leaving the comments that were stated to us. One comment was "Thanks for the mess."(They had given us waters and chips/salsa.) Ummm...your manager basically told us to take our business elsewhere?? The kicker,tho, was when one of our party stopped to talk with one of the employees and was informed, "We were here before you were." Whatexactly does that mean?? They have no idea where we are from nor our ethnicities, etc. It was so a lot of attitude, and truly,it would have been no problem to have paid on one check. WARNING...DO NOT GO!! Terrible experience and we didn't even get to eat there! We asked if we could put our party of 12 on... separate tickets and were informed by the mgr/owner "no, it's stated on the menu". While we were ok with that, she basicallyproceeded to tell us we could leave and eat elsewhere. Her rude attitude made the decision to leave very easy. Unfortunately thenumerous 1 star reviews this establishment has been receiving from past experiences doesn't seem to be changing their ways.Clearly they've forgot who is the paying customer and who is the restaurant vendor.
