Leaving this review mostly for our waitress Jasmine, when we arrived the place was packed. They had a small sign posted about... being short staffed and long wait times, we had an hour so figured we would be fine. Jasmine refilled our drinks without beingasked, when she brought the food she brought togo boxes and filled 2 cups of our drinks to go as well without being asked!!Excellent service and so pleasant, the industry could do well with more Jasmines ???? It was a beautiful day for a fall color tour. So my husband an I picked up our elderly neighbors and went for a drive. We live... in Grand Rapids. We headed towards Big Rapids partly because we planned dinner afterwards at Bob Evans. There was a sign sayingthat were experiencing a staffing shortage , so we understand the wait time. There's a very small waiting area in a corner. Notcomfortable for long wait times. We were seated after 35 minutes. Our waiter was busy and we understood that going in. Therestaurant was about a third full. He rushed us through the ordering process. We waited over 40 minutes for our food to arriveand then my order was not correct. The food was very disappointing and after waiting over five minutes for our bread with the noone in sight I finally found a young lady and asked if we could have our bread. We only have one Bob Evans left in the GrandRapids area and that's out by the airport. At the rate this restaurant is going I wonder how long it will be open. As a sidenote. Both the women and men's bathrooms smell of sewer. I mentioned this as we were checking out and got a shrug from thecashier. Read more
Service is always spot on and food is always great. Prices are fair and it's always a good welcoming visit. I have tried most of... the menu over the years and never had a single complaint about the food. The staff is always nice and quick to be of service. Read more
Where do I begin? I guess with when we walked in the door. The lady comes to the front to greet us but stops right before she... got through asking us how many and continued to a conversation by she was having about customers spending 100 dollar bills andit's a pain blah blah then turns back, how many again? We sat down and they forgot us. No napkins, no silverware and no refillson drinks and to get some help we had to walk around to get refills or any proper help. We had to hunt down our server and mostof the time they ignored us. There are tables all around this joint that are dirty with food all over them still, the waitressesare just chit-chatting and not cleaning up. This place is not up to Bob Evans code.. Definitely ran by a complacent managerialstaff. Such a mess in here.. unprofessional and unfriendly staff. Our food is here but no jelly or silverware yet lol ???? Thenwe get them to bring some, the guy throws them on my friend's toast.. Luckily they brought us a few extra because one of thesets was still dirty haha... What a dang joke.. I'm too busy writing this to take a bite but this food looks like reheatedleftovers from the church buffet. Watching this girl smear the tables is disgusting.. THAT'S NOT CLEANING! they said shortstaffed but they have so many people in here working right now. I think these workers are just comfortable being lazy.. I feellike Gordon Ramsay in here about to explode with frustration. And then I had to go back to edit the review because not only didthe cashier leave for a minute in between checking us out and the guy before us but it smelled terribly like feet. Great breakfast! But the staff was unorganized and undirected. We arrived and while we waited to be seated, an elderly couple... waited to pay for their meal for about 10min and the dinning room was pretty empty at this point. Only one good waiter that wasattentive. Thanks to him it was a relatively nice experience. Read more
To start, our waitress Jean was awesome! It felt like we were at families for breakfast. She was super sweet and the food was... delicious! Those cinabytes were fire, and the skillet was awesome. Just what we needed for a morning brunch! I highly recommendthis place. Read more
