A popular restaurant with upstairs bar serving country-style California cuisine. The downstairs restaurant gets quite busy and... the upstairs is quieter but limited to 18 and over. Other thoughts: Quick service with a smile. A small parking lot behind therestaurant. A full bar and TV screens. A nice outdoor balcony overlooking the local crowd. Reasonable prices. Recommended! In short, this is one of my fav spots in the heart of big bear lake village. Wish they have a fireplace for the winter... vibes. With a few more details, Great location. Lots of Parking. Close to everything including the lake itself. Some outdoorseating and 3 levels inside for dine in or sit at the bar. Modern Wood cabin feel and kept very clean. The vibe is nice. Greatmusic upstairs and many TVs over the bar for sports. The service was quick and very friendly staff. The food is always greathere. Some times they run out of appetizers though. Great beer selection. I always say I want to try a new place in the area andthen find myself stumbling back here so I recommend it. Read more

Wow! Scallops over Orzo, try that and thank me later. Amazing compared to any restaurants, even more impressive for Big... Bear! Service was also great, server was extra attentive and always had our drinks fresh. Will definitely be back. Read more

Visited twice for dinner and once for a late afternoon snack. Drinks were delicious. Lobster tail was excellent. Lobster... flatbread was disappointing and had little flavor. Mac and Cheese the second time was better, first time it tasted gritty likeit had cooled down and then was put in the oven. Buffalo chicken tots were nothing special, not a ton of flavor and toppingswere sparse. Wedge salad was excellent. Overall a great option with plenty of variety. Read more

Very friendly staff. Wanted to sit outside but would've needed to wait an hour! Was sat immediately inside. The brussel sprouts... are absolutely amazing. I actually wished we got more. The ribeye was cooked to perfection at medium rare. The salmon wasdelicious. It was also a friend's birthday and we didn't make reservations beforehand but when the waitress found out, she gaveus a free brownie with a candle! The atmosphere was great, definitely has a cozy cabin feeling. Would probably be a really nicedate night spot but was also great for a get together with friends. Read more

Loved the food and the view. There was a 20 min wait for a patio table, BUT we learned that you can go upstairs to the bar and... sit outside overlooking the patio and the street. The bar area has full menu. The weather was a bit warm, but the breeze upthere made it perfect. I got the steak tacos and the sauce made these tacos incredible. My wife had the chicken mushroomraviolis. She really enjoyed them. The wine, beer and cocktail list was extensive. They had an exhaustive menu. So I guarantee(not really) that they will have something you love. Read more

This is a really cool spot right at the edge of the downtown village area. We sat on the front patio where they have umbrellas... and heaters. The food was good (not great) and service was a little slow considering it wasn't that busy. But the staff werefriendly and prices were pretty good. Read more
