Reviews for Masala Craft Indian Cuisine in Big Bear Lake, CA
Really enjoyed the food here. Wasn?t quite sure what to expect especially in a little town like Big Bear. Food came out quick... and was delicious. Server was very helpful, and always checking on us, never Missed a water refill! We went with the butterchicken and lamb tiki masala. We initially did 1 order of regular naan but ended up ordering an additional one and one order ofgarlic naan. Each order comes with 4 hand size pieces. Would go back here again! Read more
This has been a must whenever I visit Big Bear. The food is full of flavor, great quality, and not to mention the large... portions. I usually order the Chicken Tikka Masala at range 7 of the spicy level. I don't do 10 because my stomach will pay theconsequences of my decision. I accompany the chicken with white rice and garlic naan. Can't go wrong with that. Also, you maywant to get a mango lassi to cool off your palate from the spiciness. If the food alone doesn't convince you, you willdefinitely be impressed by the customer service you will receive. The employees are very attentive and friendly. This place is amust if you are in town and crave good Indian food. Read more

This place is a hidden gem! The staff was friendly and we got seated immediately. They even gave our dog water without us... requesting. The chicken Tikka masala is one of the best I've had. Their garlic naan was fresh and perfection. The lamb curry wasalso very tasty and rich in flavor and spices. I also had the mango lasso and it was delicious and not overly sweet. The foodwas ready very quickly. I highly recommend this place for a great change of pace from all the other overcrowded mediocrerestaurants in town that make you wait over an hour to be served. I can't wait to go back every time I visit big bear! Read more

Owner/primary host is from Nepal. He's is super nice and hospitable. I've spent much time in Nepal and we connected right away... over the cultures and foods of the region. The eating area is spacious and sunny in a late afternoon we were there on a quietweekday. He even offered some extra rice and milk tea to my parents and I. Love the Tibetan prayer flags and Ganesh mural/art inthe back. The food is a mixture of Indian and Nepali dishes. Everything we ordered was tasty, fresh, and of generous portions. Can definitely recommend! Read more
