Massively disappointing. Poor service, over-priced - c?mon, pulled-pork sandwich for $16, plastic utensils, no napkins, and Utz... chips? We waited for soft pretzels for 20 mins to go with our second round of beer. Never arrived? Interior drab. Even worse,beer was unexciting. Read more

Walked here from our Airbnb for dinner and a drink. The NE IPA was refreshing and Fred?s hotdog was awesome!!!!! So warm and... fresh. The bread it is baked in is ???????? The pesto and cheese was also very delicious. There is indoor and outdoor seating,and live music and board games, too. Great place to visit and revisit. Read more
Great beer. Staff is excellent. Great vibe. Good live music. Only thing wrong is that a pint of ESB sets you back $11. I get... costs are rising, but that had me pass on getting a second one. One and done at that price. Read more
My favorite spot in Beverly! I?ve tried their coffee, sandwiches, and a range of their beers (loved their blonde & brown ale),... and everything has been AMAZING! Atmosphere is fantastic. It?s my favorite place to work when I?m getting stir crazy (and wouldbe a great place to study since they have wifi)! The environment is much more suitable for working during the day than coffeeshops around town in my opinion, and there is always PLENTY of available seating (with outlets). And live music every night?!They also have a ton of board games (FREE to play?) so I?d recommend Backbeat as a hangout spot for ANY age! They have anextensive breakfast, lunch and snack menu, in addition to a cafe menu (coffee, cole brew, espresso drinks?), beers on tap, andcask beers, etc. Oh, and service is amazing! Place is a GEM! Great vibe, very friendly staff and good beer selection. Nice to have open air pub and patio, just expect a bit of noise from... the commuter rail. Food was much better than expected- they slow roast the pork and the cuban is delicious. Pulled pork wastasty but the bread didn't hold up. Ask for it with a baguette instead of a roll. Read more
I went around 11:30 on a Friday. I walked up to the bar and ordered a flight of 4 beers. Good pours, but a little $$.... Nevertheless, beer was very tasty and service was great at the bar, had to wait a little longer than expected for food. Lunchwas good. I enjoyed the Cuban, but needed more pickle in my opinion, I would get it again, but request more pickle. The beercheese and mustard was very well done. Soft Pretzel was a little dense, but some people like that. I will be going back formultiple visits. Read more
Good selection of beers. They also have some food options. The tomato bisque was great on a cold evening. They have trivia on... Wednesday evenings which is a lot of fun! Read more
