The food was okay. The waiters were friendly. I feel like the food could've been better
First, it is a telling sign when there is a line spilling out of the establishment! My BF and I entered and were greeted nicely,... put on a text list and asked to wait outside. If you're wondering why? My guess is that there is not enough room within towait. (It is a quaint, little cafe.) Once seated, we were attended to immediately with waters, then our super friendly Packerfan waitress (Amanda, I think). Being it was our first experience here, we decided to share some of the fare. I got the Club 1breakfast combo and the BF got Club 2. Whoa...the French toast halves were delicious and the pancakes were fluffy, moist andthere was a hint of something sweet in the batter. Soooo good. ???? Also, the sausage links were cooked perfectly with a slightchar. I recently moved to the QC, so we asked Amanda where to go to watch the Packer game? First time diners, won't be the last time! GREAT PLACE! Staff greeted us as we walked in, all of them were very friendly. Great... homey, family atmosphere. Our server, Kaitlin, was sweet and helpful explaining items and making suggestions. I had 2 blueberrypancakes that filled the entire plate. They were as good and fluffy. I was not disappointed at all, no I was, I couldn't finishthem! Hubby had a Mexican skillet and short stack pancakes. He decided to eat the pancakes and take the skillet home. Thepancakes were too good not to finish and there was no way he could eat it all! We have Jimmy's Pancakes on our list of places toreturn to when in the area. Read more
Get down and boogie. The only and Best breakfast in quad cities! The service was over the top. Hello and good morning from... every one as soon as you open the door. Or server Katelyn was the best and the others backed up each other. This is the way yourun the front of the house. Your coffee cup will never go below half before a fill up or warm up. I had the vegie omelet withreal eggs no powder or fake eggs here! I wanted to try their pancakes but the omelet was huge. All looked yome and everyonearound was enjoying the food. I got the meat lovers skillet and my friend got the Greek skillet. Both were made perfectly. We were served by Sam, she was very... friendly and patient with us, as it was our first time there. I will definitely be back with more friends and I reallyappreciate that they are open at six am since I work nights it is hard to find a good place to eat at the crack ofdawn. Update: The service is still just as good and the food is too. I think we had our order in under 5 minutes today. Ihighly recommend trying it if you like a good breakfast. Read more
Pancakes had a great buttermilk taste, they were quite thick but, better than the other famous pancake place in "QC". The... omelette and hashbrowns were just ok, needed more flavor/seasoning ordered over the phone, the customer service was good duringordering and pickup. The price was decent. This is a very small and busy place. We were there on a weekday around 9:00am and the place had a waiting list. There is... nowhere to wait other than your car which is frustrating. Had about a 15 minute wait. Took over 5 min for a waitress to greetus (we had to ask someone who our waitress was). Food was good but not great (Steak and eggs and Jimmy's Grand Slam). The foodwas lukewarm. Steak didn't taste like there was any seasoning. Hash browns were cold. It was a lot of food and ended-uptaking home leftovers for doggos. It was not a cheap breakfast ($40 after tip) for two but if the food had been hot and good,it might have been worth it.
