A new contender for best breakfast/brunch in the Quad Cities. I consider them in the ranks of the greats along side the pancake... houses. Fresh squeezed orange juice, awesome french toast, and delicious chicken tenders. We will absolutely be back to trymore. Read more

One of the best places to have breakfast in the Quad Cities. It was packed when we arrived but it didn\'t take them long to seat... us. The food is tasty. We had eggs skillet, pancakes and crepes. Flips, is a modern style breakfast diner. The biscuits & gravy were good. The biscuit itself had a inviting cheddar flavor... with a hint of garlic. Though I wish the biscuit was a little bigger or thicker, it was still good. The gravy wasn\'t bad but,the biscuit definitely sold the plate though. From the main floor to the bathrooms, it was clean from top to bottom. Overall,it was a good experience.\nA note, I\'d love the place better if they had other fake sugar options other than sweet n low. Yes,I\'m being a little picky but, I\'m diabetic & sweet n low is my least favorite of the substitute sugars. Read more
Today was my first time trying Flips and it certainly will not be my last. I regret not coming here sooner. The strawberry... banana and Nutella pancakes were some of the best pancakes I?ve ever had. The wait staff were all friendly and attentive. Thecoffee was amazing. The burger my boyfriend got was the ?had a crazy night? burger and it tasted very fresh. All the fruit wasfresh. My sister got the Nashville French toast without the Buffalo sauce but it was still amazing. I?m sure the rest of thefood on the menu is just as amazing. Cannot recommend this place enough.
