Being Vegan in this area is hard. Most places that offer vegan anything are about an hour away! Vegan Treats is one of my... absolute favorite places to visit and i will NEVER hesitate to take the hour drive! I honestly love everything I have ever triedfrom there. This place is amazing! My son has an egg allergy and can?t usually enjoy baked goods, but at Vegan Treats we can just walk... right in and he can pick anything in the case. He was so excited the first time we went because he could try whatever he wantedand didn?t have to worry. Now they are our go to bakery for his birthday cakes or special treats. Absolutely fantastic vegan bakery. Beautiful and delicious offerings. I've tried maybe 30 of their items and haven't thought... any were a "miss" yet. Only thing to look out for is that special orders require a long lead time -- 7 days (as opposed to the2 claimed on the website) as of March 2022. Read more
Update: continue to offer Amazing treats, well worth wait or order curbside in advance. All varieties have excellent flavor and... texture for anyone with food allergies or a social conscience to eat delightfully without animal products. The most delicious thing I have ever tasted is at this bakery! We went here while visiting my parents and was blown away by the... choices. They didn't have any doughnuts left when we arrived, which we were looking forward to trying, but wow what a selection!We tried several things and loved each one. However one item was absolutely incredible. It is pictured here and is some type ofpumpkin tart/cheesecake/mousse. If its available when you are there, don't hesitate to add it to your order. It was incredible.We cut each mini cake pictured here into 4 slices to share and it was more than enough for 4 people. We also tried a cannoli(great) and the whoopee pie. I went into this with so much excitement, I told them I had driven 2 hours to see this place and it was my 24 birthday. These... statements were met with an ehhh feeling. Still I moved on and asked about their flavors and their favorites since it my firsttime here. The customer service is horrible. TBH the cakes are not that good.
