Jaimie made my husband and I an absolutely stunning wedding cake! We were blown away! She made it look even better than the... inspiration photo I sent her. The whole crowd was blown away as well! Even people who don't usually eat gluten and dairy free.The cake looked and tasted amazing. An extra bonus is her very fair prices. This was my second time going to red bandana bakery. I really enjoyed the cake I ordered before however I wanted to try a donut... this time and got the apple cider one. I was really excited because it?s seasonal however it didn?t taste like apple or applecider , not much flavor. The staff was nice and inviting! Read more

I was so excited to find a bakery/eatery with vegan items that had great descriptions. We tried items for lunch, supper, and... breakfast - not just one and done. Unfortunately they didn't live up to the hype. The grains were strangely dry, we are notgluten-free and perhaps that was the issue there. However, the food in general was over-seasoned, and had way too much sugar andoil in it. Very disappointed. Reply to owner: Thank you for your kind offer, but we have to decline - we don't live in the area- just visiting. We had a wide selection of your offerings. The only ones that we actually ate were the sandwiches - I ate halfof a Green Machine (think I'd have preferred a plain Avocado toast better), my spouse ate his Chickpea scramble. Note, we atethem but neither with relish. We found them over-seasoned and very oily. But at least we ate them. I've made avocado toast athome often, and ordered it often in CA - a lighter touch is what we prefer. We bought a pizza for supper and after one or twobites, it went into the trash - we normally never eat fake vegan cheese having been vegan for >20 years. He also bought donutsfor dessert and cinnamon rolls for breakfast. No idea why the donuts didn't have glazing rather than the icky sweet "cream."Finally the cinnamon rolls may have been good straight out of the oven, but by the next morning they were inedible. When we(especially my spouse) throw away food without eating it - that's a problem that can't be corrected IMHO. Let's just agree todisagree here. My partner has issues with dairy and egg, so, we were delighted to stumble upon Red Bandana! We originally ordered some... smaller snacks and they were great. The reason for the 5 stars - is we emailed them about a birthday cake dairy/egg freebirthday cake, along with a flavor and some ideas/examples we were thinking about, and just let them do their magic. They make so many wonderful treats and it is easy to get gluten free and vegan items or whatever you need. This bakery made my... wedding cake and is still my go to place for gluten free baked goods. Read more
Unfortunately the birthday cake we got was not good. It was very, very dry and flavorless. We had to get something here because... of a couple of family members with allergies but I would seek baked goods elsewhere in the future, especially for those withoutallergies. The cake was beautiful, but ultimately a big disappointment. It?s tough to leave this review because of theaccommodating and kind staff. Read more
