This restaurant gave me and my husband the best service we have ever received. We visited on a nice day in the summer so there... was outdoor sitting it was a little warm so they made sure our waters were constant filled. They checked on us in a timely manorand after we started to eat the chef came out to see how we were enjoying the food! All the staff were extremely friendly warmand welcoming! I hosted an engagement party for 20 people at La Panetteria and the experience was AWESOME! I tried booking several other places... in the area before finding this gem and the La Panetteria staff made booking, planning, and payment so much easier than therest. The food was great, my favorites were the zucchini fritters and the prosciutto and arugula pizza. The service and diningarea were super welcoming and felt like our own little slice of Italy. Have not gone back since the change of ownership until yesterday. We were pleasantly surprised by the improvements. The food... was great except the beef milanese, it wasn't bad but just not to the same standard of other dishes we ordered. The veal chops,the risotto dishes and the fried zucchini were excellent. The services were enthusiastic and the home made after dinnerlemoncello was better than what I had in Sorrento Italy. With the escalating prices and declining services in Bethesdarestaurants, this is a great place to have in our neighborhood. Their prices are fair. Read more
My family and I hosted a lunch for family and friends in memory of my Mom who passed during the pandemic. The team at La... Panetteria was fantastic with attention to details (microphone for speakers, great menu options and ordering process forguests). Our guests told us they all loved the food, service, atmosphere and family oriented feel. We previously hosted a babyshower and anniversary dinner - both were equally great. Read more
I was excited to see a vegan strawberry crumble on their menu so I decided to get it for takeout. Received a cold, liquid-y... hodgepodge of strawberries and nuts which TBH looked like a bunch of frozen strawberries were allowed to thaw out with somewalnuts! I was slightly appaled but more amused than upset by the audacity of this dish pretending to be a crumble. Seepictures below for entertainment. I give this place three stars despite this because I have had decent risotto from them in thepast and I am happy that they have an otherwise decent vegan menu. Went there last night after seeing great reviews, the staff was super friendly and the ambiance was really cute! We were a bit... disappointed in the food. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. The steak was decent, however the risotto was more cheese thanrisotto, I could not eat it. The bread was good, but could have been a generic store bought loaf. Hopefully it was a one offinstance, but I probably wouldn't go back. Read more
Such amazing food!! Would highly recommend. There are quite a few "fusion" places that actually don't mesh very well but this... place combined the best of Italian and Argentinean cuisine! They also have a great selection of wine and the service isincredibly friendly. Read more
