I had brought my mother and grandma the day before mother's Day. To start they were EXTREMELY under staffed. It took us awhile... to be seated despite us having reservations. Then it took about 15 mins to even be brought menus at least another 10 for our teato come out which by the way was plain PC brand tea I paid nearly 3$ for. We were there for an hour before our food was broughtout to us. I got the high tea and it was terrible. Stale bread, generic food, and also some of the food missing, and was alsonothing like what it advertised to be. My mom and grandma got the tuna melts which were sub par. Then we got the scones whichwere plain and so tiny and also stale. In all we were there for over 2 hours mostly just waiting around for things. I hategiving small local businesses bad reviews but they DESPERATELY need to get their act together and fix things. We just wanted anice mother's Day time together and were sooooo disappointed. I had organized a luncheon for a group of friends. I booked 2 weeks pryer to the event, rechecked 1 week before and also the... day before. There was not enough staff to accommodate our large group so service very slow and some never got served after 3hours. I was most upset that the blame for this was tossed in my way. I feel I did all that was necessary for it to have beena successful luncheon. Will not be returning which is too bad as it is a nice place and it could have been a very pleasantexperience Read more

We had a very disappointing experience with this facility both with the staff, the service and the attitude we received. We... will not be returning. Our lunch arrived very late, we were there just before 1pm and did not get so much as a cup of tea untilabout 2:10. Lunch arrived finally at 3:12, yes by this time we noted the time. I understand that two ladies who arrived at2:50 received their lunches by about 3:30 and were told they were on the house because they had to wait. We were not offered somuch as a discount or our tea free for waiting so long. The lady, we assumed was also the owner, was quite impatient with USbecause we were looking for our lunches by 3pm. I must say the food was good but then by 3:15 I could have eaten my own arm. Icannot recommend this establishment unless it is virtually empty so they can concentrate on one table only. There is no cook, just the ladies serving, they serve and cook so beware. Be prepared to wait and do not have any expectations of going somewhereafter your lunch. I only gave two stars because the food was ok even if she got my order wrong. I wasn?t about to send itback. Also note that many of the teas are PC and Bulk Barn teas. Pack a lunch if you plan to eat here. Read more

This quaint tea room is located in an old family farmhouse. Afternoon Tea consists of a platter with an fresh egg salad... sandwich, cucumber bites, crackers with cream cheese & pepper jelly, plus ham skewers, some fruit and a few veggies. The dessertplate offers a selection of sweets. Ours had the best brownies ever, pecan butter tarts, a mini cheesecake and a few pieces offruit. My husband & I each had a bowl of the soup of the day, which was a yummy root vegetable soup, and split the AfternoonTea. It was a light, satisfying lunch for two. We will be back! Read more
