Food very good?service marginal at best. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and po boys. The restaurant was basically... empty?3 folks at the bar, and maybe one table. We waited quite a while and I noticed the bartender sitting across the bar,eating. I asked about our food and was told it was not ready. Our 1st visit here today. We ordered the catfish basket. The catfish meat was PINK. I asked the server if that was normal- her... response was "I guess so" Didn't offer to get a manager or anything. We were afraid to eat it. Got to-go boxes and thought we'dcook at home - but ended up throwing out. Basically wasted $50. Do NOT recommend. Read more
If I could leave zero stars I would. Me and my girlfriend had been waiting to come here for a couple weeks and found the night... to so, 10/01/2022. Saturday night at 5:30pm the parking lot appeared to be empty, and inside there were a total of 2 otherparties and one guy at the bar. So that was immediately concerning that on a Saturday night at dinner time there was nobusiness. We order drinks and our server brought them promptly. We had a question in regards to the ?The Whitening fish fry? andasked what fish it was, our server did not know, I asked if there was anyone who would know, she replied no. Okay, so we orderthe Catfish fry and a seafood boil. Within 4 minutes we had our food. Alarm bells went off at this point but we pressed on. Mygirlfriends catfish was not flakey or white, it was a light gray and smelled like mud, oddly enough the flavor was somewhatokay, however I?ve never had catfish that didn?t flake, but furthermore I could stretch a filet like a rubber band. My seafoodboil you can tell everything was very obviously frozen food. The corn was mush a tell tale sign of frozen corn. The boil had noflavor nor spice even after choosing ?all seasoning? and ?medium heat? I ordered full pounds of crab legs, shrimp and sausage.Nothing had flavor, texture of what we were eating was completely off, shrimp were entirely over cooked. Horrible food. Waitingand I argued for 5 minutes and said since we ordered it, we had to pay for it. I said that I wasn?t paying full price and hesaid ?okay 10% off? I said no and he settled on 20% off. Bill still ended up being 83 dollars for food that we didn?t eventouch. Absolutely horrid establishment, even more horrid customer service. Do not ever eat here. Great food! Highly recommend. Had plate with shrimp, sausage, corn, potato and egg. Gumbo was wonderful.
