Excuse the poor photo but man I was hungry , i haven't eaten here sense before the pandemic and I gotta say this place is still... fire ???? I ordered the skirt steak tacos which are topped with beans , cheese and salsa. I also ordered the al pastor and manim glad the quality haven't changed , the workers here are also friendly, I highly recommend anyone to give this place a try. Read more
My first time at Viva La Frida ! It was an awesome place to celebrate my Birthday. They were great in accommodating us days... before this fun event. Their entertainment is awesome, and their tacos to die for. People there are very friendly andattentive. I would celebrate any other special group event there! Absolutely loved it! Read more
First time there and was pretty disappointed. We basically sat ourselves down because there was no one around until we saw a... waiter and he said it was fine. After our waiter took our order we waited about 25 minutes for us to receive our drinks. Onlybecause a woman I think she was the manager came by and asked if anyone took our order after telling her our drinks were outshortly after. About 5 min later our tacos came. The abuela tacos were good. I was just pretty upset as to why others who hadjust sat down got drinks and food before us when we had been there longer. Our waiter never came back to ask us if we wantedanything else. Our appetizer never came. And I personally think they need a better plan on seating. Maybe a host at theentrance. I seen a couple people leave due to no one approaching them at the entrance. Drinks were good. I wouldn?t mind comingback if they fix their issues and hire more workers. Read more
I went with a friend and my 13yr old daughter on a Friday night. Despite the bad reviews, I think it's worth going and... experience it for myself. We were greeted at the door and seated within 5 mins. The food was decent. I really liked my tacos.Drinks were a little weak (according to my friend), but still very flavorful. The music was and the ambiance was GREAT! It was80's & 90's music. Dj JR Lopez played the best music and we really enjoyed it. A quick shout-out to our waiter Alex for hispatience and great service. Overall, i think the restaurant is making a huge effort to improve their service so don't getdiscouraged and see it for yourself. Let's support our local businesses! Read more
Being a vegetarian, I was extremely happy when I saw that they included a vegetarian taco as a part of their menu, which was... very delicious. My mother on the other hand who isn?t and was able to try the tacos de abuela, said that they reminded her ofhomemade cooking and were also extremely delicious. This restaurant gave off positive vibes and the whole theme is super cute.The service was speedy and efficient contrary to other reviews, and the server Jorge was very helpful and friendly. He gavegreat recommendations as it was our first time being there and my family and I will definitely be coming back for more. Read more
It's my first time here, got there around 6:30pm and waited more than and hour to get seated. I was told over the phone that... they don't take reservations. I read the reviews before hand and most reviews were negative, mostly complaining about the longwait time for everything. Therefore, as soon as we sat down we ordered our food and drinks. We got everything we ordered within10 minutes. The tacos were good, nothing extraordinary. They were a good size for the price. The drinks were good too. I likethe environment and the service. The only bad thing was the extremely long wait time. The live music was great! I went on aFriday night and they had karaoke from 9pm to 10pm. If you don't mind the long wait time, and like tacos and drinks then this isthe place for you. Read more
The place has a great ambiance, they need more personal to provide the best costumer service and experience. They need to hire... more staff, they only had 2 staff members taking orders. Our appetizers came out on a timely manner but our food came out 30minutes later and it was cold. Seems like the food was sitting in the counter for a while before it made it to our table.
