The spicy tuna tartare appetizer was so fresh and tasty, the squid ink pasta with seafood was so pretty and tasted even better... than it looked! I only had a chance to take a photo of the steak because I was waiting for my father to come back to the table! The seared steak and shrimp risotto was Michelin star quality. The apple maple cheesecake and chocolate raspberry pistachiotorte made me wanna buy a few pieces for home. This place is a hidden gem and my favorite place in the tristate! I came from thecity and I?d go back again and again. Prices were affordable and fair, service was perfect! I can?t say enough good things aboutthis place!!!! Read more

We were craving wood fired / brick oven pizza. We found Chianti via Google search. We drove 33 minutes to Chianti. We were very... pleased. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The wood fired oven, from Italy, is impressive. Love the fact that theyadvertise the wood type they use in the oven. Yup, cherry and oak woods. Now for the food we ordered. My wife and I always eatour food family style. So we shared the pear salad. See pictures? the amount of balsamic vinegar is just the right amount. It isdelicious. Can?t wait to try the other salads. Now for the pies? two sections on the menu. Make sure you order from the woodfired pizza (I bet the regular pizza are good too - but we were craving a wood fired pizza). We ordered two pies - a GrandmaPizza and a Margherita. Mmm mmm both are great. It is great as it is? but craving pepperoni too. So we ask to add pepperoni ontoit. 90% of the time, we eat without pepperoni? but wanted it this time. The crusts? brick oven? amazing results. The picturesdon?t do it justice. Must visit and try. We will be back. We also noticed that they have outside seatings. Read more

Wood fired pizzas - very tasty, delicious food! Go for the Wood fired Grandma pizza, Margherita or classic Neapolitan. If... parking lot is full, saw others parking in the parking lot next door at the bank. Friendly service, great food! Read more

First time we went here we loved the pizza, second time not so much. The Grandma?s pizza we got was burned on the bottom yet... soggy and undercooked in the middle and extremely oily. Expected better and am disappointed by the inconsistency. Read more

FOOD [5/5]: As it says in their name, they make wood fired pizza and it is absolutely fantastic! Get a classic margherita - the... basil is always so fresh. One of my other favorites is the mushroom pie with arugula. Hard to go wrong with any pizza overhere. SERVICE [4/5]: Staff is incredibly friendly but since there isn't much of them, service can be a bit slowsometimes. VIBE [4/5]: It's a casual and quiet spot - at least that's the case for lunch. You can see the oven from your tablewhich is always a nice treat. Read more
