So happy we decided to try Dion's! The restaurant was clean and comfortable with friendly staff. The ordering process was easy... and we even got to enjoy watching them make the pizzas! The wait was as expected for a busy weekend but it was clear all thestaff was working hard to fulfill orders quickly. Dions always does a good job. This is one of our neighborhood go-tos and it?s always consistent and good. Their salads (spinach,... add feta, turkey!) are great and big enough for lunch the next day. Dions must do something right for their employees becausethey?re never ?understaffed? and there is never outrageous rudeness or anything unpleasant from the staff. The employees areoften quite young (high school/college) but they must have great management because things run really smoothly. And if there isever an issue (out of something or slow) they volunteer a cookie or something to make up for it. It?s never a fight or anargument to order dinner like in so many other restaurants these days-just friendly, easy, good food. Definitely recommend. Read more
Excellent, top notch Pizza, even by my NY and CT standards!
My wife and I were excited because Dion?s is one of the closest restaurants to the resort we are staying at and we love your... salads and subs - my wife gets them once a week at work, so we are big fans! We asked for recommendations and were told that thecarnivore pizza was a top seller and should be tried, as well as the cheese bread. We received our order and sat down to eat -salad was delicious and fresh as usual, cheese bread is good, but the pizza was honestly terrible. So we continues to work onour meal and I can?t even get 2 full slices of the pizza down. We were asked twice about to go containers by someone walkingaround and I said ?no thank you? to a pizza box, to which she responded ?are you sure? There?s a lot left!? But did not askabout it or send a manager by- my wife convinces me to go to the front and say something and order a sandwich to go because weknow they are delicious. I went up and Lexy is who met me and seemed perplexed that I was standing there with 3/4 of a pizzastill - I explained that the pizza wasn?t good and that I wanted to order a sandwich. She grabbed the pizza and took it backinto the kitchen (surprising with current COVID restrictions) but first said ?thats?s interesting our pizzas are really good.?We walked over to the register, I paid for my large sandwich, and asked to speak to a manager to address the pizza. No managercame out so I went and stood by the front and she pointed through the barrier and said ?he?s back here.? (Am I supposed to jumpthe counter?) I start speaking to Jax but realize there is no concern and at this point don?t have faith in this location - so Iasked for a refund on my sandwich, he argued with me and said there was nothing wrong with the sandwich - I explained that Ihaven?t received it and no longer want it. This is great Dions Pizza: workers are friendly and efficient. Orders are always correct I have never had any issues. Online... ordering is very convenient. This location has a drive trough for pick up as well as a separate pick up window. There is anelevated viewing stand for kids to watch the pizzas blend made which can keep kids busy while food is blend prepared. All oftheir dessert items are usually very fresh and are also well priced. The salads are a great deal and a full salad is enough tofeed four people. Their family salad is enough to feed 8-10. They pitchers are great for groups and they never complain aboutgiving enough ice cups for groups. This is a great place to take large groups for a decent price.
