For what it is , a meat and two veg place the food is made with a bit of love in the way a chef love the craft of cooking but... not like the home made food your mom put her love into . Real close thought , rather way I really injoy the food , staff andatmosphere of the hole place you know your home and your welcome hell I guess it dose remind me of home and a better time . Alsomy dad is old and grumpy in a nice way . He did not use to be picky about eating but grump old man has won on that front hesend meal back 3 times and only after explain for way to lone his beans had to hot , no you not getting it boiling hot witchthey don't do thank God but they always treat him like I with lovable annoyance . Witch I've been doing to him for 30 years , heloves it because he feels at home . So good or bad they are definitely worth checking into . Especially for the home crowd .That my experience with them and he'll I'm going to go and get dinner from right now. Because all this talking about them hasmade want some so please and God bless . I had the Friday special of a small flounder. It was very good. For my sides, I chose slaw, which tasted fresh, and mashed... potatoes, which were from real potatoes and not instant. The staff was pleasant and attentive. Read more

This is my "New" Monday healthy meal spot. . . They have the Best fried okra. Rice is available on Mondays, throw some pinto... beans & onions on top of that. . . Let me start off by saying. I rarely give a 5 because there is always room for improvement. So let?s start with the bad? Sweet... Tea! It was gross. It was lacking tea lol. But, being from GA I?ve learned NC cannot make sweet tea. Now the good.. Everythingelse! The prices, the food, the service. It was all outstanding. We will be back. Read more
Service was great. Ticket time was less than 10 min. Food was typical southern breakfast(as you would expect). Lot's of food for... three adults under 40$. Looking forward to exploring other items on the menu. Read more
