All 3 different beers I had on tap had a strange, almost vinegary taste which I clearly remember experiencing in college at a... bar that hadn't cleaned the tap beer lines for decades. Once they paid to clean or replace the lines, the beer tastes normal. Irealize I may be wrong, but I was not happy with any of the beers I had. NOTE: The kettle chips served as an option with thesandwiches are (extremely) seasoned, which was not mentioned in the menu. I had two and couldn't eat the rest. My partner hadthe grilled cheese sandwich and she can't stop raving as to how good it was. I'll have to try that next time, but I'll get theCole slaw instead of the seasoning with some chips added. Often stop by for trivia on Wednesdays. Service is via QR codes on the tables. Staff is super friendly. Bar menu is substantial.... Has a bike rack outside to hang yours. Staff helped me recover a lock I forgot one night. Read more
We shared the Ruben sandwich... so tasty ! And the fries were excellent staying hot in its metal container. And the coleslaw was... the BEST, not mayo based but so flavorful with a vinegar type background. Beer is beer but I had the refreshing Alameda Meyerslemonade. We needed help ordering via a phone but everyone was kind and nice to do so....but my only disappointment was nodessert menu!??!! Read more

I ended up at Triple Rock by accident today. I had planned for an end-of-the-year lunch with some ex-coworkers at a nearby... restaurant and it was closed. I had not been in this place since the 90?s, I think it was just beer back then. I was pleasantlysurprised to see the cocktail menu. The Campsite Karaoke cocktail was so good it tasted like candy. This was a great place to have a relaxed lunch in Berkeley. They have a wonderful rooftop bar and also outdoor seating. And they... do a phenomenal job of keeping everyone safe during Covid. Every menu at every table is discarded after use for example! You canalso order online and pay online without having to speak to a waiter. Read more
