Wow! What a tasty Thai experience. Authentic, beautiful, and tasty, this restaurant left me wishing I could eat dinner again.... The menu is so large we could go back many times and have a different meal. Since it was our first time we stuck with thebasics. I ordered shrimp Pad Thai (add tofu, I recommend doing as well) and my wife had Khao Soi (northern style curry). Westarted with a classic papaya salad (Thai spicy, of course) and chicken satay skewers. I tell you, the portions are enormous,and the flavors were incredible. To date, the best Pad Thai I have had. The prices are mid-range and a little high for thaistreet food but it is well worth it. I highly recommend, bravo! Quite literally the best Thai food I have had in the east bay. Very fresh ingredients, great flavors, great portions,... affordable, super friendly-attentive staff and truly a fine presentation. Also love that they have tons of vegan options thatare well labeled! And I have to mention that I feel like they use less oil and/or a higher quality oil than most places I go, soI just feel better after. I have eaten at over 10+ different Thai spots in the bay looking for the best all around and afterfinding it now will fill my Thai cravings here every time even though it?s a bit far from me. A nice small restaurant with very sweet servers. We went for dinner but they were full when we arrived so we had to be seated... outdoors, however they were quick to turn on the heaters and offer us hot water. We ordered the pad see ew and tom yum noodlesoup with pork, and everything tasted good and flavorful, I even tasted a bit of the char from the wok on the noodles. The chilipeppers came out on the side so we could add as much spice as we liked. An overall pleasant experience! Read more
Lively Thai restaurant in an unassuming part of Berkeley with good dishes beautifully plated. I got the Lao papaya salad and the... spicy mixed seafood dish with brown rice. See the photos. Both were yummy. The service was fast and friendly. My only issue wasthat the plates the food were served in were chipped. I think they should be retired. Went for dinner with friends. The service was really good and we were able to get the table right away. The staff was also very... accommodating. We ordered 1. Pad see yu- 5/5 the dish had perfect spice level and well cooked rice noodles with chicken. 2. Rotiwith peanut and curry sauce - 4/5 I was hoping the roti to be bit more crispy. 3. Spring rolls:- 5/5 great flavors and nicelycooked. 4. Red curry with chicken- 5/5 the chicken was well cooked not dry, the curry had great flavors. Overall greatexperience. The only reason for taking off 1 star is because the cutlery was of different plates for each one of us. Read more
