I discovered this gem when visiting my daughter who attends Cal and was very pleased. The food is delicious?I?ve been twice now... and enjoyed everything we ordered but especially the lamb curry with mushroom, the chicken tandoori, the eggplant appetizer andthe raita is the best ever?Very rich and creamy. Also my daughter thought the mango lassi was the best she had ever tasted? Aperfect blend of mango to yogurt. Also the lentil soup as a starter is lovely. Each main plate comes with either naan or rice sothe prices stay reasonable. There is a very friendly wait staff and the owner and even the cook came out to say hello! Read more

Absolutely, delicious! I hadn?t had Nepalese/Indian food in years until today. But my first and last time having it was quite an... experience. It was flavorful, colorful and needless to say, delicious! All those wonderful memories from many years ago werebrought back today. I had to stop mid meal to type this review because I couldn?t wait! I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Veg.Momo, Plain Naan, and Basmati Rice. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again! Read more

I have seen Rat and Roaches in their kitchen. It is really bad Nepalese restaurant. I suggest you not to go in this restaurant.... The old owner of this restaurant was really nice at that time they serve us a good food but now its bad. The food they make hereis unhygienic. This restaurant is making Nepalese ethnic food as a garbage. I believe this is a bad restaurant in entire bayarea. Please don't go in this restaurant. Read more

This is a nice place to sit and eat in Berkeley, though I would grab a drink elsewhere. My partner and I arrived here 30-40min... before closing and the staff were friendly and fast. The dining room is pleasant and clean. We had the momo sampler, lambcurry, and okra. The chicken momos were delicious, a savory mix of flavors in a delicious noodle wrap. The lamb curry was alsovery nice, but we probably would not order the okra again. The beer here is $11 for an import lager, and my partner and Idecided to get drinks elsewhere. Read more
