Wonderful little restaurant. You have to remember. It opens at 8:30. It is a little bakery that was recommended to me for lunch.... However, I ended up going for breakfast. Their oatmeal was unbelievable. Which is odd to say about oatmeal. Great little find. Read more

I'm from out of town, but make it a point to stop here when I'm in Berkeley. Delicious! Grabbed brunch, ricotta toast was... divine! Upsidedown cake, spectacular! Sourdough waffle w/strawberries, delightful! Staff is helpful, but they are busy so benice to them!! Wearing a mask for the duration of your order is not a huge ask! A great find on 8th St in amongst a wonderful enclave of other food and beverage related businesses. We arrived around lunch... time and although there was a small queue, it moved quickly and we were easily able to find comfortable seating with both shadeand sun on this glorious day, when we had finished ordering. The daily menu was plastered on the windows and we ordered a mezzeplatter, chicken and turnip sandwich and some soft boiled eggs, all of which were exceedingly tasty. I also ordered a coffee,having seen they had a La Marzoco espresso machine, from which i knew i won?t be disappointed, and of course i was not. Lovely weekday brunch spot! So many options for a quick takeaway breakfast. We couldn't decide on which pastries to get so... didn't limit ourselves when choosing. The vegetable frittata was outstanding, and the cacao nib scone was one of the best ever.Can't wait to go back to try out their lunch menu in the future! Read more
You basically enter into a big bustling kitchen with a counter for taking orders and bar seating facing the window. Lots of... seating outside. Menu changes daily, food was well presented and very tasty! The coffee was delicious! I was pleasantlysurprised when they mentioned my name as they delivered my food to the window bar. This place deserves no less than 5 stars. The food was truly amazing and wholesome and beautifully made. You feel the love in... all the homemade dishes, all carefully prepared with the best ingredients. The fact that you can sit and watch their every movein the kitchen just makes it more interesting for a foodie like me. The staff also deserves 5 stars, they were so friendly andkind and even gave us taste samples of their pickled carrots and sourdough waffles. If we weren?t moving on to our nextdestination we would have stayed for lunch and dinner. This place deserves all the love in the world.
