First things first. This is the most expensive bowl of noodles I've ever had and for that reason, I have not returned and do not... plan to return. BUT it was delicious and if it was half the price, I would eat there weekly. It's kinda cafeteria style. Yougrab a bowl and you pick which ingredients you want (meat, seafood, veggies, noodles, etc.). At the cashier, you have an optionsof soups and your bowl of ingredients are weighed (be ready for sticker shock!). The quality of ingredients were good and thelaksa soup I chose was delicious. Just not $30+ delicious. Missus K. Mill Valley, CA 03013 11/23/2022 First time here withfriends and I must say it did not disappoint. I tried the Laksa sauce and it did hit the spot. So many choices of meat, seafoodsand vegetables. Highly recommended! Doreen C. Westwood, Los Angeles, CA 21022 11/20/2022 1 photo This place is one of my go toplaces. You basically choose what you want to eat, like a mini personalized hot pot where they cook the food for you. As usualthe malatang was super good and the broth was very flavorful. I usually get just a kick, and that's usually the perfect amountof spice for it to be enjoyable but still spicy. We did have to wait a bit for our food though, ~20 mins. But overall stilllove this place! Angela Y.Elite 2022 Atlanta, GA 4952124 11/12/2022 1 photo I never thought I'd be so captivated by a mall foodcourt spot but here I am! Customizable "hot pot" style bowls are the star of the show here. Tang Bar is nestled on the secondfloor of Stonestown, and it is always busy. You grab a bowl, gloves, and tongs and fill your bowl in a buffet style line. Youchoose a soup base and pay for your bowl (calculated by weight) at the end of the line. The price is set per pound, so all theingredients are effectively the same price. What I love the most is their large selection of ingredients - seafood, vegetables, meat, noodles - they have it all. I enjoyed trying the duck blood and the lotus root. After Read more

I was craving some Kong Guk Su since California has been getting record high heat waves... Needed some refreshing cold noodles!... Not many Bay Area restaurants serve this specific dish, so I was excited that I stumbled upon this place. Came here with a fewfriends and there was no wait on a Sunday evening. I ordered the Kong Guk Su and it was just okay. The soybean flavor had athick paste-like consistency. Not much flavor to it, so adding kimchi into it was a must. Honestly, the broth was just bland andgoopy. I was expecting a more silky and smooth texture. They give a good amount of noodles though. Overall, I don't think Iwould order this again. Read more

Bimbimbap was very flavorful and came with many fun sides like the excellent hot tofu soup. It?s very easy to get vegan and... gluten free item here. Good service! One downside, the price is a bit high. $21 for bimbimbap (stone bowl) feels a bit high tome. Read more

Vegan tofu soup was better than expected! I got it spicy but it wasn't really that spicy. Could have gone for extra spicy. The... mung bean pancakes were really good too. They remained crispy and not soggy even after cooling down. Read more

Drove over an hour to go here because I heard they have biji-jjigae (ground soybean stew), and it was so worth it! It was... flavorful and so hearty - a taste I?ve been craving for a while because no Korean restaurant in the Bay Area seems to have it! Iwas pleasantly surprised to see they even have mung bean pancakes! They were crispy and so good. The restaurant itself ispretty clean and feels spacious. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend! Read more
