Reviews for Free Speech Movement Cafe in Berkeley, CA
It's a cool place for students. As a new student here, I am still trying out all the options in the menu so I've decided to... start with the lemonade-berry-acai. It tasted just like regular lemonade but looked cool. Prices was not cheap but not asexpensive as Starbucks (5$ for the lemonade, same for a latte). In the few times I was there the inside was always packed andthere was no place to sit. Outside was nice when the weather is nice, and usually there's at least one large student group thatenjoys their food/bevs together so if you don't have noise canceling earphones you won't be able to study so much. If you'rejust wandering around Berkeley to see the campus this is a great spot to stop and rest with a tasty beverage. Read more
No gloves and I think someone spit in my food
I love the coffee but I feel like they should take flex dollars !!
Just ironic that a free speech/rebellion themed cafe charges $11 for a mid tuna sandwich ¯_(?)_/¯
my favorite place to get iced matcha lattes <3
Great historic place to sit and sip great coffee, study, or grab a delicious snack. Variety of foods and drinks in a spot that... represents the Free Speech Movement at Cal. Staff are friendly and provide fast service, the indoors is decorated to match itspast, and the outdoor seating area is more than spacious :) Read more
Tucked away in the center of campus is it?s best cafe. Students line the wall here with laptops open studying something of... greatness I?m sure. The patio out back is huge, with room for at least a hundred people. Coffee is always fresh and the serviceis good. Read more
