One of my favorite new places! I've been looking for a slice house in Berkeley forever and I finally found it! It's authentic... Italian pizza, it's so well priced, and the toppings are traditional and very fresh. The crust is very light and airy and notheavy at all! Read more

A++++ delicious!!! The pizzas are absolutely amazing. Sold by the slice. Excellent flavor, the focaccia style crust and dough... is so so good. Toppings are excellent. High quality ingredients served simply in ways that show off their flavor. The prosciuttois high quality and easy to bite (flavorful, delicious, high quality), not the gross chewy /tough prosciutto that some places inthe US like to pass off as prosciutto. The spritz was delicious and strong. Very good value for the price! The little tablesoutside are so nice. The staff is Italian and so friendly. Honestly, felt like being back in Italy. Amazing food, lovelyservice, high quality ingredients and food at very reasonable prices. I will 100% be back and am definitely recommending thisplace to everybody I know. Read more
Delicious and unique! The pizza al trancio is a cross between pizza and focaccia. It's soft with a crispy bottom, flavored... nicely with olive oil, and wonderfully complements the toppings. The supplì (mozzarella-filled tomato risotto croquettesimilar to arancini) are remarkably flavorful and scrumptious ? I could probably make a meal of them! Most items, includingpanini, have meat and there are numerous vegetarian options. The farinata is a vegan and gluten-free garbanzo bean pancake witholive oil. I wish I lived closer! Read more
One of the hest focaccia breads I have ever had. Really clean and crisp with every bite. This place has some delicious... creations and I would go back again. Everything I had was great! Try the focaccia rossa and set the bar. Great service and staffas well. Felt to welcomed and cozy. Read more
So I was in Rome, Italy ???????? two years ago. I was very excited to see the Vatican church and the Sistine Chapel. Wow!!!... The Lord truly gave some people AMAZING gifts and talent! You know what I was also very excited about seeing? Going to see alittle small bakery that sold pizza by the slice called Pizzarium (Bonci)!???? Casa Barotti is a newer Spizzicheria- "place tonibble and share" in Berkeley. Their pizza crust lies somewhere between regular pizza and foccacia. It's soft on the top andcrispier on the bottom. Barotti is a great place to get some slices for a snack or take it home for a meal! Read more
BAY AREA..... If you have not been to Casa Barotti you need to run not walk to this place. I have eaten here on my own time as... well as having them cater an event at work. Their pizza is AMAZING. I cant even recommend any particular item as IT'S ALLGOOOOOD. If you are looking for authentic Italian adult pizza please try them.
