Trendy spot with lots of happy energy! Staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered the Smash burger (texture, taste was good,... didn?t feel like a heavy burger) and the Vegetarian Eggplant sandwich (had a tolerable spicy kick to it). Both dishes weredelicious, proportions were good with the side. Place was clean, good atmosphere! Read more

We got the Fair Warning and Somebody Call the Doctor and both sandwiches were delicious! The accompanying fries were cooked... perfectly. We will definitely come back anytime we are here! The atmosphere is good, but the food was excellent! Maybe one ofour new favorite sandwiches. Read more

We had a excellent experience at the Brick House Restaurant on Friday, 07-29-2022. My wife, my two sisters, their husbands and... I enjoy wonderful service from the moment we walked in the door. Our waitress, Amy, greeted us with smiles and professionalism. She took the time to explain the menu, gave us the chance to ask any questions we had. She made our dining experience, one toremember. The excellent, customer service was excellent and we intend to visit again soon. Thank you. ???? Read more

Took my wife here for date night last Friday and what a great little addition to Benton Harbor! My wife had ?Somebody get me a... doctor? Monte Cristo which was AMAZING and I tried the vegetarian sandwich, ?The little dreamer? which was just as great! Weshared a basket of frickels, and the food was just as good as the service! We had Melissa and she was wonderful andknowledgeable. Great experience overall!!! The only thing I would knock is that the bloody Mary?s are spicy and only come with alime wedge and two olives, no pickle or celery... Other than that, we?ll definitely be back to this gem in good ol? BH? Wellworth returning time after time!!! Read more

The Brick House, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, is a fun pub in the heart of the downtown Arts District, serving up top shelf meals... and cocktails. Perusing the menu, I noticed all the sandwiches were named after Van Halen song titles. The fun meal namescontinued with the kids? menu which includes ?I Don?t Know,? ?I Don?t Want That,? and ?I?m Not Hungry.? We began with a LillianBoard, named after the owner?s late grandmother. It?s The Brick House version of a charcuterie board but features Michigan-madePolish sausage? a tribute to Grandma Lillian?s Polish heritage. The sausage is sliced and seared, then served with spicymustard, a side of house-made pimento cheese, toasted bread, and cornichon pickles. The sausage is not smoked like some polishsausage, allowing you to taste the savory flavors of garlic and what I think is marjoram. I had never had homemade pimentocheese spread, and it was fantastic. I would take a tub home with me if they sold it like that. Next up from the appetizersection were the best frickin? fried pickles I?ve ever had, which are cleverly called Frickles! They come sliced, breaded andflash fried. Unlike most fried pickles, these maintain a nice crisp crunch. The seasoning is on point with some fresh crackedpepper zip, and the Brick Sauce served for dipping is outstanding. You?ll find this secret sauce in several of the Brick Housesignature dishes. The Atomic Punk is an elevated grilled ham and cheese sandwich. The buttery, creamy taste of Brie cheesebrings the other ingredients together, which includes fresh spinach, honey mustard and get this?apple slices! Who comes up withconcoctions like this? The sweet and crunch of the apple slices are certainly unique and delightfully contrasts the saltinessof the ham. We sampled a couple cocktail creations too. The In a Van Down by the River cocktail was a huge hit for all of us. It?s grapefruit vodka with fresh lime, soda and a jalapeño slice. The jalapeño is very subtle wit Read more
