I have been to a lot of whaffle houses, this one is Horrible, very unclean the cook was coughing and nobody had gloves on, the... floor was covered in water and they didn't even attempt to clean it up just put up a wet floor sign. The coffee was cold andburnt, the food was over cooked and cold, the staff only came by to drop the check never asked if we needed anything. The entireshift should be fired. I eat at a lot of places and a lot of Waffle Houses and this place ranks #1 for the worst!!! It?s almost impossible to mess up a... bacon cheeseburger but he did!! Grease running out of the burger, bacon half cooked and didn?t even toast the buns!!! You couldtell by looking at him he hated his job and it showed!!But the waitress was really nice. She ask if everything was ok and I justlooked at her and she kinda rolled her eyes like she knew it was gonna be bad. But I said I?m not one to complain. My husband went to Waffle House to ordered a hashbrown bowl with sausage, 4 eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, and cheese for me "to go"... as I was working from home. He told me the total was $19. WHAT!?! Looked at the receipt - charged $5 for the "to go"container! Tried to call the restaurant to question the charge but they have the system set-up to not accept calls. Hmmm? Wonder why? The food is very good and there are a decent variety of choices. The servers are usually pretty friendly and have a good energy... but not every time I've visited. The atmosphere is the usual Waffle House atmosphere and of course depends a lot on when you goand the time of day or night. It is open 24/7 which is always great. But the fact that they no longer take call in orders oreven answer the phone at all is very disappointing and is the reason for my three star rating. Read more
