We got a pizza, a stromboli and fried ravioli bites and it was all so good!!! And the sauce it delicious!!

We moved to Benson after living in downtown Raleigh for 12 years. I'm a bit of a foodie - London, New York, San Fran, Denmark,... Italy, Spain. Plenty of food from all over the world and fairly picky when it comes to classics like Italian. This is, handsdown, the BEST Italian food we've ever had. And I don't say that lightly. Stopped into this cozy establishment for a slice of pizza to go. I was fifteen mins too late for the lunch special so my mother... and I decided to sit and order a personal sized pan. Let me tell you the pizza was absolutely delicious. The crust was light andcrispy and each layer delivered their own flavor. We waited a little while but it was well worth the wait. They were extremelybusy which told me that they were the perfect addition to this small North Carolina town. The wait staff was attentive and thetake out orders were taken care of efficiently. I gave it four stars because we weren't greeted when we came in and beingtrans-southern that's something I've grown to expect. Although the tables were spaced out there were no social distanceregulations enforced at the take-out area. Overall a great experience and I would recommend to a friend, even a New Yorker. Read more

The food is great! This place is an oasis in the desert. We stopped for the night and most options were fast food. I decided to... drive 3 more minutes from the entrance and found this restaurant. Mamma Mia! Thats a good meatball. Pizza and the chicken wings was delizioso! You want authentic? This is the place. The... inside is small and intimate, felt right at home. Servers were great, made me feel important. Benson y'all got a real gem onyour hands. Worth the drive. I'm literally checking out the local real estate after my meal, it's that good people.
