Well what else can be said. This is the newest ?best restaurant in town? title holder. Everything I had was outstanding. Great... atmosphere, wonderful people and diverse, inventive menu. The octopus, radiccho and squid ink pasta made my night. Out waiterClay was great and the owners seemed like great people. This will be in a monthly rotation. We are lucky to have this place?thank god. Read more

We sat at the chef counter and enjoyed seeing the plates exiting the kitchen. Hette offered excellent suggestions and service... was outstanding. Our steak was perfect. Try something from each menu section for the best experience. Plates are easily shared. Read more

Excellent experience at RBC. Very relaxed and upbeat vibe (come as you are - not stuffy) with a remarkable front of house team... that balanced professionalism and personality. Shout out to Renee and Hette for outstanding service and terrificrecommendations. The quality and range of cuts far exceeded my expectations and our server (Hette) took time to outline thedifferentiators between them. After starting with a charcuterie board with the best terrine and jerky, we shared a half order ofscallops, endive salad, Brussels, and 32oz bone-in ribeye that was cooked to perfection. Total price with tip was around $300.Very fair pricing considering the quantity of food and a few cocktails. Skip the traditional steakhouse and check out RBC. Read more

Seriously, where do I start. Its a 5 star from start to finish. My wife and i came in without a reservation that night although... we did have a reservation for the next. Decide to go early. The folks that checked us in were great. Unfortunately, i didn\'tget anyone\'s name. The gal with the long dark brown hair was really just wonderful, a real standout. Since there was a wait wewere invited to \'take a barrel\' outside to enjoy a beverage while we waited. While out there the male server(outside table)and the gal were awesome. They helped answer questions about the menu. Once we were seated we were able to just rattle off ourorder. I love family style. No one picking off of eachother\'s plates. We ordered a decent amount of food for two, no boxesneeded at the end of the night. Although, the dessert might have been too much. When we left, the guy from the front thanked meby name for coming in. It\'s not an inexpensive restaurant but the value is absolutely there. So, great people, great food, great time. Read more

We were referred to Ranch Butcher Chef/RBC by a friend. Incredible. The atmosphere, service and dining experience was... outstanding. The team at RBC made it appear as if they\'d been a well oiled machine for years, yet they are just entering theirfourth week. Our server knew her stuff, did not over-recommend, told us what might pair up nicely, etc. We witnessed some disheswe didn\'t order come by, like the salmon, and we chalked that up for our next visit. We HIGHLY recommend RBC! The scallops andsteak were very well prepared. Read more

I?ve been missing the Tasty style ever since they closed shop in Portland. If you know, you know. But now, Bendites can dine on... the fine style of chef Gorham and Garret Peck, of Portland restaurant royalty. What took them so long? Nevermind why. This isa win for Central Oregon. Welcome to paradise gentlemen and, ladies. Here?s to many years of success and thank you for settingthe bar in Bend. Read more

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner for their soft opening week. The restaurant is beautiful and very well put together. We tried a... large portion of the menu items and were very pleased! Some favorites to point out are the warm harissa olives and hush puppiesto start. The hush puppies may have been my favorite thing we had.. The sweet potatoes gratin was delicious and filled withspice. The chefs mixed plate was a great option to be able to sample a few other things besides just steak, the sausages weregreat. Overall everything was fantastic, being only the third day open there was definitely some areas needing improvement butwe are sure they will get everything ironed out and dialed in a few weeks. The staff was all wonderful and friendly and checkedin on us frequently. I would highly recommend you check it out. We can?t wait to be able to purchase from the butcher shop aswell. Read more
