We used to come here often...at least three times a month. Up until recently, we would consistently rate this 5/5 for... years--very friendly and welcoming staff and consistently delicious--overall fantastic experience. However, our last threevisits have been very disappointing. We gave it three trys because we thought maybe they were having off nights. Unfortunately,not the case. Something changed like a switch. All of a sudden the food is below average and the new staff seems sad andbothered by anyone who walks in the door---almost like they are held hostage and trying not to break. I don?t like to give negative reviews, so trust me when I say this place was pretty average! Best part of the meal was the chips... and salsas - drinks were quite good, but the main courses (the whole reason to go out to eat) were pretty bland and less thanappealing. Maybe we caught them on a bad day? Service was a little slow as well. Read more
This place is legit, very tasty and great service! I got the wet burrito with beans and rice. The price wasn't too expensive,... and the quality of food was great. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because I think there are other places that are a little better, andthe beans seemed a little runny and the rice was not the typical Spanish rice that I like to get. This is our favorite restaurant. The people are nice, the drinks are amazing and the food is phenomenal. The simmered pork, the... seared ahi tuna, the flaming bananas...everything is perfection. We live 3 hours from Bend but we make sure Hola is in our plansevery time we come. Don't be shy about ordering from the Peruvian portion of the menu. You won't get this kind of meal anywhereelse.
