One of my new favorite restaurants to visit while in Bend. The service is always great, the food is delicious and our dogs were... allowed to sit with us outside. This time we got the salmon and bacon and the elk burger. Both were cooked to perfections andtasted great. The bacon was thick, crisp and quite delicious. The elk burger was cooked perfectly. An excellent brew pub with great food and better beer. My partner and I stopped by with our dog for a quick meal and thoroughly... enjoyed sitting out on the patio. We tried their pub burger and veggie burgers -- both were excellent. And I would STRONGLYsuggest substituting for their French fries, the fries are delicious. For beers, we tried the Imperial Pilsner, Pilsner,Helles, and the Bitter. Honestly, the Bitter was the best of the bunch. It's a very easy beer with a modest finish. Order a pintand enjoy! Also, growler fills are very reasonable: it was only ~$15 or so for a fill. Read more
There are so many great aspects of Deschutes Brewery. First the beer is phenomenal. Come to the tasting room ready to explore... different styles. The food is outstanding, lunch or dinner. I had the chicken sandwich, probably should go with that. Lastly,the ambiance here is fun and lively, a mix of bar taproom and refined restaurant. Read more
A must visit to the Deschutes Pub when in Bend! The staff, the food, the atmosphere is just the absolute best! I just love the... drink menu and tasting all different brews and whiskey! Too notch service, grub, and drinks! I tried thie BBQ chicken pizza and the server (Kennedy) was spot on with recommending it,... one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! I got a slice of their famous peanut butter pie and it was so worth the hype! I alsotried one of their sours and it really hit the spot. If you’re looking for a cozy spot to grab lunch or dinner while visitingcentral Oregon, this place should be at the top of your list. Cold day but they were able to accommodate us and our pup on the patio. They have plenty of space heaters to stay nice and cozy.... The service was fantastic and the beer was wonderful. It was our first time visiting so I got the “brewers choice” flight. Ithought that all of the beers had great flavor and were unique in their own ways. We kept lunch simple with a warm bowl ofFrench onion soup and a Caesar salad. I would definitely visit again Read more
Deschutes is a staple of the Bend brewing scene, one of the originals. They’ve been making solid beers since 1998. The food... selection is mainly pizza and burgers but both were very well made. Table service was solid and the beers were on point. Themenu showed two available beer samplers which looked okay. I asked the server if I could make my own sampler and he gave me asheet to write in. You can even try the premium beers for a small up charge. My favorite of the six I tried was the Black ButteXXXIV. Read more
